Hele--I faint. Hele--I faint; lamat zabac ta ni--darkness is coming over my face.

On one occasion the old Rishi informed me that temple legends stated: "Jesus, during his sojourn in the Himalayan monastery, studied the contents of the Sacred Inspired Writings, the language, the writing and the Cosmic Forces of the Motherland." That Jesus was a Master of the Cosmic Forces, with a perfect knowledge of the Original Religion, is manifest in the Books of the New Testament; but it is not there shown that he understood the language of Mu. His acquaintance with it is proved by his last words when nailed to the Cross: "Eli, Eli, lama sabac tha ni." This is not Hebrew nor any tongue that was spoken in Asia Minor during the life of Jesus. It is the pure tongue of the Motherland, badly pronounced and spelt in the New Testament. It should have been spelt, read and pronounced: "Hele, hele, lamat zabac ta ni." Translation: p. 55 Hele--I faint. Hele--I faint; lamat zabac ta ni--darkness is coming over my face. I do not stand alone on this translation. The late Don Antonio Batres Jaurequi, a prominent Maya scholar of Guatemala, in his book, "History of Central America," says: "The last words of Jesus on the Cross were in Maya, the oldest known language." He says they should read, "Hele, Hele, lamah sabac ta ni." Put in English: "Now I am fainting; the darkness covers my face." Thus we virtually agree on all material points. The slight differences are easily explained. Jaurequi spells the word "lamah." I spell it "lamat." He spells the word "sabac." I spell it "zabac." This difference is brought about by the translations coming from two different lines of colonization. Mine comes from the Naga-Maya of Eastern Asia; Jaurequi's comes from the modern Maya of Central America. The two, taken from vastly distant parts of the earth, agree in all material points.

good friday

Jesus was a Karana Janma -a non causal birth like a bodhisattva..His last birth of over 30 since his fall was the last one where all flimsy traces of ego were eliminated...Moksha. He could have stayed in the Brahmaloka and waited for pralaya for Moksha but he chose re birth, as he was originally the planetary deity or 'gaia'.... Today Good Friday is the day the last traces of astral ego died on the cross...so he could achieve moksha...T

Lords Prayer

THE LORD’S PRAYER: Our Father who art in Heaven. Purport: This is referring to God and the fact that we are all His children. Heaven can be translated as just that-a plane or it can be translated as the non dual liberation. Hallowed be Thy Name: Purport: Holy is Thy Name. Any name of God is Holy and is a mantra or sacred phrase. Repeating the chosen name takes one’s mind to the spiritual and purifies the mind, by attracting the corresponding spiritual vibration. So whether it is ‘Jesus the Christ have mercy on us’, Om Namah Sivaya, Hare Krishna, Om Mani Padme Hum, Om Sakti Namaha, or any other name of God it is all the same. There is only one God so chanting the name invokes that. This is the ritual known as The Rosary/Japa, which is common to Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, and some Christian groups, such as the Catholics. Thy Kingdom Come. Purport: Let all become brothers and sisters on the planet, and all working towards Liberation. Let all see that the material world is all part of the body of God. Let us become Realised. Thy Will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Purport: Complete surrender of the fruits of action to God is indicated here. Let the Will of God decide not our will. As it is God’s energy that is the doer anyway, surrender the fruits of action to The Lord. It also is addressed to those living on the planet and looking to not getting out anytime soon. As that is most of us, it refers to Nishkarma karma or offering the work to the Lord and leaving the fruits of action to the Lord. So it is about turning one’s society into a just and spiritual society, as it is on the heaven planes. Do the work and leave the rest to providence! Give us this day our daily bread. Purport: This is the bread of life, spiritual energy, coming from the Lord. Grace if you will. This involves some daily prayer and meditation to bring the spiritual into our everyday life and making it all an offering to the Lord. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive others. Purport: Let us not incur bad karma Forgive us our mistakes as we will forgive others, who may have offended us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil Amen. Purport: Let not God’s creation tempt us to falter, for we have to rise up over our attachments to materiality and achieve Liberation. Amen is the same sound as Om, even though it may originate from the same source as Amon the Egyptian Deity. Creation is an effect of Immanent God, or Personal God, and in itself is a temptation. A temptation to believe that is real, when it really is a kind of dream projection. So here we are praying for Realisation and Liberation. The story of Adam’s fall relates to this, for the temptation was to engage in creation with its attachments and desires, instead of being dispassionate and detached. I don’t believe ‘Eve’, had much to do with it, for Adam had a wife Lilith prior to Eve, who was of the previous beings THE LAST SUPPER: Onwards. The last supper was really very similar to or the same thing as the Essenic brotherly meal. It also coincided with Pesach or Passover in Jesus’s time, so adding significant meaning. It was a sharing a breaking of bread and wine or more likely, non alcoholic must. The words that Jesus spoke saying that this is my body and this is my blood, meant something other than a literal translation. He was talking as the Universal and indicating that everything was God and there wasn’t anything but God. This was his last teaching before the crucifixion, that all is One, we are all One with God. ‘Peace be with you’, which Jesus used was an Essenic expression. The bread and wine were used as emblems, of the ultimate truth, so that the ritual would be continued, as it is today in The Mass. There is much symbolism with the Essenes for they were into The Kabbalah and Prophecy. Another important ceremony at the supper was the washing of the apostle’s feet. In India this is called Padanamaskar or Worship of the Feet. It is to show that one isn’t above anyone else and that the same God dwells within all of us. So we can worship God in anything even another human being. Peter at first refused to allow Jesus to wash his feet, and Jesus told him, 'He that would be the greatest would be servant of all.' THE CRUCIFIXION: Without going into the ‘Passion’, let us look at the words of Jesus on the cross. The most important were spoken at the end, where he cried out ‘ My God, My God, why have thou forsaken me’. From a Vedantic standpoint this sounds very much like the dying ego. As the ego dies there is much fear, and this is reflected in Jesus’s feeling of abandonment. The ego doesn’t want to die, it wants to preserve itself even on the other higher planes, sometimes it will attempt to escape to another type of body rather than die. So here we have Jesus experiencing the entire feeling of all human souls for their separation from their source. This empty abandoned plane, that has to be fought through when abandoning identity. Yeshua’s words, ‘It is finished’, are not strictly about his death but about the end of the battle. The ego is finished, and Yeshua’s soul has realized its identity with the Universal, it has merged and dropped all illusion of separation. In Vedanta this is called Videha Mukti or Liberation at the death of the body. RESURRECTION: This is the revitalizing of the body, rebuilding it and energizing it. Yeshua’s mission, if you will was to show that there was no death, and this was programmed into his karma for this lifetime. So on his death and Moksha the body still had some time to function in the world. There was programmed karma to play out that is. However the consciousness is no longer that of Yeshua but the Universal. Death in itself is a very relative term, for many yogis can go into samadhi or trance, and the body seems to have no vital signs. One has to appreciate the manifestation of consciousness to understand this. In Vedanta it is posited that we have three bodies, the gross material, the subtle and the causal, and these have to be purified. Purification of the Buddhi, or the individualised version of the Universal Mind/Mahat, is necessary for spiritual progress. The Buddhi is an aspect of the Vijnanamayakosha or Awareness Sheath, it is the Inner Mind/Intellect or Antahkarana. When it is turned inwards it pierces through Maya and leads to Moksha or Liberation. When it is turned outward it only succeeds in enhancing the power of the Lower Mind or Manamayakosha. This part of the mind is turned out to desires and satisfaction of the senses. A Buddhi turned outwards is a distortion of its 'function. For man can manipulate his mind to enjoy the senses, out of season, so to speak. Unlike the animal, which only operates instinctively within its' Dharma. I will briefly talk about the five koshas and how this purification process works. It is a reversal of consciousness as we know it, to its' "Natural" State. The five koshas are the ANNAMAYA, PRANAMAYA, MANOMAYA, VIJNANAMAYA, and ANANDAMAYA KOSHAS. THAT IS THE FOOD, ENERGY, MIND, AWARENESS OR INTELLECTUAL, and BLISS OR CAUSAL SHEATHS. The gross material body is the food sheath, the subtle is made up of the energy, mind and intellectual sheaths, and finally the third body is the causal or bliss sheath. The subtle is withdrawn at death, and dwells on the subtle planes at different levels. This also occurs in meditation and sleep. The conscious mind is dropped in favour of the subconscious mind. There is a second death where the energy and lower mind sheath are left behind. This sheath looks like the physical body one used in life. There are three states of consciousness, Waking, Dreaming and Deep Sleep, and when we are asleep we leave the gross physical body behind and its waking state. Sometimes this happens otherwise and is called an ‘Out of Body’, experience. Death is when the sheaths no longer go back into the body, the connection is broken. With Jesus this didn’t happen for as the individual ego died the Universal Consciousness took over the body and its residual karma. So we have Jesus dying and ‘The Christ’, rising. THE ASCENSION: The Ascension can be looked at in different ways. Obviously rising and floating up to ‘Heaven’, is figurative for Heaven is within. So what happened at the Ascension? Jesus probably did rise above the ground to give the disciples a better view. At this point he disintegrated the body into its natural constituents and it disappeared. The other alternative is that it was only a projected body and the normal body of Jesus the Christ was somewhere else on the planet, playing out residual programmed karma. Some say that Jesus returned to India and the body didn’t drop until he was very old, and there is a lot of hypothesis concerning this. Whichever theory one prefers, it doesn’t take anything away from the message of Yeshua the man who became The Christ Spirit. The word Christ is the Greek word for Messiah. There is another word used by some early Christian groups and that is Chrestus which means ‘Perfected One’. In actuality they both mean the same thing, as a Perfected Master becomes one with the Christ Spirit, or Caitanya Kuthasta in Sanskrit. It is also not dissimilar to the Hindu Shakti, or Universal Energy, or even the Shekinah in Kabbalistic Judaism. .

Buddhism and Hinduism /

BUDDHISM/Hinduism: Four Noble Truths: (1) Life is suffering; (2) All suffering is caused by ignorance of the nature of reality as well as the attachments that result from this ignorance; (3) Suffering can be overcome by removing ignorance and releasing oneself from attachment; (4) The way to overcoming suffering is through following the Noble Eightfold Path: right views, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right-mindedness and right contemplation. These eight elements of the Noble Eightfold Path are divided into three categories that form the pillars of Buddhism: morality, wisdom and samadhi (concentration). , Continuing with my post on the Buddhist void, Sunyata I suppose?, and the Vedanta/Hinduism. I know in Buddhist thought there are the ‘absorptions, with different modifications like bliss, etc. and then rising above all these. Ending up with ‘nothingness’, and then non-perception nor perception. Well Vedanta admits to something similar with the five sheaths and kosas and the states of waking, dreaming, deep-sleep, and Turiya. (There are also different levels of Samadhi, Samadhi not being exactly the same as the same concept in Buddhism but nearer the Dhyana.) So waking, and dreaming are really wrong perception, and deep-sleep is non-perception. However with non-perception we have the seed, as not being awake to the true reality, which results in the other states I suppose of wrong perception or an effect. So ignorance causes the effect. So with deep-sleep there is an absence of knowing. I think that connection with the body conceals the ‘real’, knowledge or Vidya. In dreams the senses cease to function , so everything is happening in the ‘light’, of the ‘Self’. So whatever happens in dream doesn’t attract any karma for it due to previous good and bad karma that the dream takes place. So anything in a dream is not binding, also some dreams are past lives, future lives, and astral travel. We know this ,for when we awake we don’t take any responsibilities for the happenings in a dream, or perhaps you don’t remember. There is an underlying consciousness to all this, otherwise one wouldn’t even be able to detach from the last dream. In dreamless sleep there is still a veil over our consciousness, which makes it part of Saguna. That is, the consciousness is awake but there is nothing for it to know except nescience prevailing. In Buddhism, as there are different ‘absorptions’, there are some differences in the Vedanta. Coma, Deep-sleep, Laya, and Yoga-Nidra, all sharing some similarities. It is all about samskaras or impressions I suppose. It is like a vibration is actually a subtle, kind of lack of ‘True Consciousness’; The more gross the vibration the less the manifestation of this Consciousness, and the greater the veil. So is the vibration the lack of consciousness or limitations or is the lack of consciousness the vibration, a chicken or egg question, both veiled in avarana and illusory anyway. Like a still ocean and each ripple is the limitation, building up to an individual wave/jiva. So lack of consciousness is ‘movement’, or the illusion of movement. However the seed must still be in the Self for it returns after pralaya or dissolution, as we return from deep-sleep. In reality there is no ocean of Saguna Brahman only the Nirguna Brahman, perhaps you can call this the void or sunyata or moksha, or Turiya. However one cannot even call it this for then it is modified and thus Saguna. As Pilate asked Jesus, " What is Truth?". Jesus didn’t answer for that was his answer, No modification, it is above perception and non-perception. In Vedanta there is the concept of ‘God’, with attributes and also without attributes which is the Truth....T,(Tony O'Clery).

The present of the presence

THE PRESENT OF THE PRESENCE. (The state of awareness). "You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment."….Henry David Thoreau. Many people sometimes wake up in bliss, which lasts for a few moments or minutes and is probably due to a direct awakening from deep sleep as opposed to transversing the dream plane. It has happened to me on occasions and on awakening from meditation sometimes. Recently I awoke from my unconscious meditation in a bliss state and it lasted an hour or more. I, or something was observing the bliss state, and the world was more ephemeral and didn't matter at all. I couldn't really tell if I was the state or was even separate from it. It lasted just as long as I was observing, as soon as I started to function in the world it began to diminish progressively. I must admit to having energy experiences since childhood, but the Bliss States are something different. The memory or residual is still there though......This leads on to the what is this 'I' or rather Who am I? Young toddlers for example think and speak in the third person and don't really have a strong ego-sense as such. However due to conditioning an ego starts to develop and expand. However it is only a thought and what we call mind is also really just a bundle of thoughts. Separation is the odd man out rather than the truth, or the ground energy of everything from the big-bang onwards is only one. We constantly try to reinforce our illusory ego like having a mirror facing a mirror and seeing reflections going on and on, and then believing the image must be true for there are so many reflections of it. I am doing this and this is happening to me and so on and so on. Separating ourselves from the common energy, like a whirlpool in the ocean believing it is separate from the whole ocean, or a wave doing the same thing. Taking responsibility for action causes us pain, and problems with other people, who also have egos. Not only egos but 'minds' and a subtle bodies that stores all the joy and grief of our experiences. Our relationships are a minefield of navigating to avoid each other rocks of wreckage and pain. Joy is no problem as it can be shared even if not totally understood, for it is nearer the truth of the 'ground of being or energy'. This leads us to the question of freewill and what it means. Freewill cannot be explained without explaining what time is or isn't. There really isn't any time even science recognizes the concept as relative. So if there isn't any time everything must be happening at once in some way. Like a wagon wheel, consciousness is the hub and it concentrates on one spoke at a time but all the other spokes exist as well even if they are not illuminated. This has the effect of us completing an action that we have essentially already completed. In other words if we deliberate over an action and come to a decision, that is the decision that we made anyway. This allows the illusion of freewill so we can take responsibility for what we do or don't do. The reason for that is that we set up a memory to learn, which we call karma. Karma will teach the mind through experience, and the mind puts the body in many situations to learn. However we are not our thoughts nor our mind, we are the consciousness or state of awareness behind the thoughts. Thoughts are also something that our ego reaches out and grasps hold of. If you sit quietly you will notice thoughts continuing unabated, running on and on. This gives you the opportunity to observe as a witness rather than a participant, and this is the first step to finding out 'Who am I'. The trick though is to realise that enlightenment cannot be achieved it can only happen. It can be helped along so to speak by meditation 'observation' being the easiest way. That is observing the mind and its thoughts and one will find out it is only thoughts. This has the effect of strengthening the feeling of being the observer, which is the awareness state. One has to have course of enquiry though, and continually be aware of what the 'I' is. One has to realise that the 'I' is just a thought also and the ego does't exist apart from that. So going about one's daily chores ask the questions, who is this happening to, who am I, who is happy who is upset, who is doing this as an act of selfishness, and so on. Every now and then some joy on earth will overwhelm our enquiry such as falling love with a person and creating an attachment. This sets up a chemical situation in the brain as well as a psychological one, and one thinks one has found happiness. But no human can live up to that and then eventually the partner's ego starts to show and his or her mind full of karmas starts to take effect. Proving again there is no lasting happiness on the outside and one has to go within so to speak. This does not mean that one cannot have a meaningful relationship however; For that in itself is a learning experience and an exercise in reducing the egos. KARMA AND OR GENETICS. In the Eastern Religions and Philosophies karma from previous 'lives' is used to explain today's happenings, tendencies and attributes. However if one doesn't believe in karma, which many in the 'West' do not, then the alternative is genetic tendencies and influences from the environment. No matter what the origin of these conditions the fact remains that our tendencies and attributes affect the very way we live our lives and make our decisions. It may not be possible to isolate a tendency that easily or even an attribute, but one can observe oneself and notice them. The mind is like a glass of fluid with sediments at the bottom, these sediments can be stirred up and so changing the fluid's conditions for a while. Tendencies and attributes are something similar and may be triggered by a certain event and then subside and lie low until the next 'triggering'. The trick in controlling these mostly sub-conscious tendencies, is in understanding that which triggers them and avoiding them, if it is unpleasant or 'bad'. (The opposite is also true of course). Observing the ego or 'I' thought can help avoid and control certain tendencies, understanding when it is a motivation of selfishness, or altruism. The ego looks for liner achievement to fulfill itself. However even on achieving great goals the feeling of unfulfillment is still there, for it is related to falsehood of egoistic activities. The nature of the ego is to be greedy and desire ever more and more of its desires. ACTION OF NON-ACTION? It is a common misconception that activity is required, to help humanity or do 'good'. However, once one understands the mind and the fact that it broadcasts vibrations, a person sitting in a cave and doing no activity could help the world, with invisible influences. Meditate on the space between thoughts and one will find out the truth. ACTION. With regard to the field of action, there is a great concept taught in the Bhagavad Gita, by Krishna to Arjuna. That is surrender, or 'no karma, karma'.. This essentially means surrendering the fruits of the action one is doing and leaving it to providence. Karma Yogis, are among the best known in history. St Vincent de Paul embraced this concept and used it as a devotion and to help the poor and downtrodden. This in fact brings the 'Universal' into the lives of many through the Yogi or Saint, as well as expanding love and reducing the ego of the practitioner. For the Saint or Yogi offers his work itself as a prayer to the Universal, and therefore absolves himself of thinking about a successful or a result in failure. One doesn't have to do anything karma will take its course anyway. So surrender and have the confidence that as long as one complete's action things will unfold as they should do. One can create 'Good' karma for the future and future 'Lives', for 'Dream actions have dream results'. Motivation and Desire. Motivation is a belief in the present, but it is also following one's bliss. Find your inner feeling and you will find your raison d'etre or goal. There may be other goals on the way. It is a matter of being positive, complete your actions, and surrender to the moment. There is an old saying that we become what we think about and this is so true, for we are thinking of what we are at a deeper level. HOPE. Hope is an expectation with a belief the goal is already mentally achieved, except for the action to complete. This does involve visualization and dreaming the goal but also act. Dreaming the goal brings it up from the subconscious present. Think in the present for the present is the result and no result can be achieved without the present. 'The person who has the most success is the one who expects it'. For they know they are already successful in the present. So after the goal is set dwell in the present not on the desire for the desire will invariably not measure up and result in unhappiness and frustration. This is due to the energy being forced in contrast to the truth of the subconscious present. So dwelling in the moment is an advantage for there is less stress, good vibrations of happiness, and peace. This leaves people in a sense of relaxation, enthusiasm and communication. Ramana. Needs interpreting and editing..to avoid any copyright infringements. The word akasa is used quite a lot and it means ether and in my opinion—Universal Citta or mind. Many seers and prophets claim they can access and read it, such as Edgar Cayce. Here in this chapter I will be posting Indian Thought and in particular the late Ramana Maharshi, and David Godman’s works in popularizing him. “The mind is like akasa (ether). Just as there are the objects in the akasa, so there are thoughts in the mind. The akasa is the counterpart of the mind and objects are of thought. One cannot hope to measure the universe and study the phenomena. It is impossible. For the objects are mental creations. To measure them is similar to trying to stamp with one's foot on the head of the shadow cast by oneself. The farther one moves the farther the shadow does also. So one cannot plant one's foot on the head of the shadow.... Similarly with the ignorant practicer to study the universe. The universe is only an object created by the mind and has its being in the mind. It cannot be measured as an exterior entity. One must reach the Self in order to reach the universe. Again people often ask how the mind is controlled. I say to them, "Show me the mind and then you will know what to do." The fact is that the mind is only a bundle of thoughts. How can you extinguish it by the thought of doing so or by a desire? Your thoughts and desires are part and parcel of the mind. The mind is simply fattened by new thoughts rising up. Therefore it is foolish to attempt to kill the mind by means of the mind. The only way of doing it is to find its source and hold on to it. The mind will then fade away of its own accord.” Raman Maharshi —TALKS, No. 485 D. What is the significance of the Crucifixion?

Maharshi:
The body is the cross. Jesus, the son of man, is the ego
or the I-am-the-body idea. When the son of man is crucified
on the cross, the ego perishes, and what survives is the
Absolute Being. It is the resurrection of the Glorious Self,
of the Christ - the Son of God. ~~~ Maharshi's Gospel What is body consciousness? It is the insentient body plus consciousness. Both these must lie in another consciousness which is absolute and unaffected, and ever abiding, with or without body consciousness. What does it then matter whether the body consciousness is lost or retained, provided one is holding on to the Pure Consciousness. It makes no difference in the knowledge of the Supreme. ~ taken from Thus Spake Ramana This brings in the idea of ‘Heaven and the Kingdom of Heaven. The ultimate Kingdom of Heaven is becoming The Christ or Liberation. However there is a lesser Heaven, if you will, and that it about planes of existence. The highest heaven and the ultimate of all the amorphous planes is where beings who do not need to incarnate again reside. They remain here until the next dissolution of the material and subtle universe and at that time they merge with the Universal. Any being that takes birth from this level does so at their own volition, no karma forces them to. Buddhists call them Bodhisattvas, Hindus call them Avatars or Karana Janmas, and this is what Jesus was. He had fallen as Adam or Adams but regained his spirituality as Enoch and therefore was not Liberated but only one step away. However as Jesus fell as Adam he felt he had to redeem himself and give an example to human kind. Also taking on the ‘Sin’, or Karma caused by his original faltering. So Jesus or Jeshua took birth again, and paid off a lot of humanity’s karma by his suffering but he achieved final Liberation by becoming Christ, on the cross. 80. You can never find the mind through mind. Pass beyond it in order to find it non-existent. Mind, ego, intellect are all different names for one single inner organ ( antahkarana). The mind is only the aggregate of thoughts. Thoughts cannot exist but for ego. So all thoughts are pervaded by ego (aham). Seek wherefrom the "I" rises and the other thoughts will dissapear. ~ taken from Thus Spake Ramana 20. The mind is nothing but the stream of thoughts, that passes over Consciousness. Of all these thoughts, the first one is the thought "I am this body". This is a false thought; but because it is taken as true, it is possible for other thoughts to arise. So the mind is just an outgrowth of the primary ignorance and it is therefore unreal. ~ taken from Thus Spake Ramana So this is the kernel of Indian or Vedic thought. That there is a Transcendent God without attributes at all---------Nirguna Brahman, ( The great expanse without attributes). However there is also the concept of Immanent God or Saguna Brahman, God with attributes associated with Creation. So we have two ideas of the One God here. Creation is posited as a kind of projected dream that has no beginning but has an ending. An ending individually and universally. Whilst still in existence Creation has pralayas or periodic dissolutions, where all is subsumed into God. This is at the material and subtle levels at different times, called Pralaya and Mahapralaya. Seemingly if one becomes Liberated or Christed, one is like a drop of water dropping into the ocean. All individuality is gone, or the illusion is that is. At this stage, as almost like dreamless sleep, all materiality doesn’t exist and didn’t happen ever. So the concept of Nirvana in Buddhism, Moksha in Vedanta, and becoming The Christ in Christianity convey the same interpretation. A dropping of the individual illusion and become what one already always was, The Universal, this is Liberation. Q: What is samadhi? Sri Ramana Maharshi: The state in which the unbroken experience of existence-consciousness is attained by the still mind, alone is samadhi. That still mind which is adorned with the attainment of the limitless Supreme Self, alone is the reality of God. When the mind is in communion with the Self in darkness, it is called nidra (sleep), that is the immersion of the mind in ignorance. Immersion in a conscious or wakeful state is called samadhi. Samadhi is continuous inherence in the Self in a waking state. Nidra or sleep is also inherence in the Self but in an unconscious state. In sahaj samadhi the communion is continuous. The immersion of the mind in the Self, but without its destruction, is known as Kevala Nirvikalpa Samadhi. In this state one is not free from vasanas and so one does not therefore attain mukti (liberation). Only after the vasanas have been destroyed can one attain liberation. Q: When can one practice Sahaj Samadhi? A: Even from the beginning. Even though one practises Kevala Nirvikalpa Samadhi for years together, if one has not rooted out the vasanas one will not attain liberation. Q: Is samadhi, the eighth stage of raja yoga, the same as the samadhi you speak of? A: In yoga the term samadhi refers to some kind of trance and there are various kinds of samadhi. But the samadhi I speak of is different. It is sahaj samadhi. From here you have samadhan (steadiness) and you remain calm and composed even while you are active. You realise that you are moved by the deeper real Self within. You have no worries, no anxieties, no cares, for you come to realise that there is nothing belonging to you. You know that everything is done by something with which you are in conscious union. Q: If this sahaj samadhi is the most desirable condition, is there no need for nirvikalpa samadhi? A: The nirvikalpa samadhi of raja yoga may have its use. But in Jnana yoga this sahaj sthiti (natural state) or sahaj nishtha (abidance in the natural state) itself is the nirvikalpa state. In this natural state, the mind is free from doubts. It has no need to swing between alternatives of possibilities and probabilities. It sees no vikalpas (differences) of any kind. It is sure of the truth because it feels the presence of the real. Even when it is active, it knows it is active in the reality, the Self, the Supreme Being. Q: How can one function in the world in such a state? A: One who accustoms himself naturally to meditation and enjoys the bliss of meditation will not lose his samadhi state whatever external work he does, whatever thoughts may come to him. That is Sahaja Nirvikalpa. Sahaj Nirvikalpa is Nasa Manas (total destruction of the mind). Those who are in the laya samadhi state (a trance like state in which the mind is temporarily in abeyance) will have to bring the mind back under control from time to time. If the mind is destroyed, as it is in sahaj samadhi, it will never slide down from their high state. Q: Is samadhi a blissful or ecstatic state? A: In samadhi itself there is only perfect peace. Ecstasy comes when the mind revives at the end of samadhi. In devotion the ecstasy comes first. It is manifested by tears of joy, hair standing on end, and vocal stumbling. When the ego finally dies and the Sahaj is won, these symptoms and the ecstasies cease. David Godman, BE AS YOU ARE…Date…The teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi, Arkana, 1985, London. KUNDALINI OR UNIVERSAL MIND. Kundalini is our own Universal Mind. It rises in the Heart and goes directly to the brain on awakening. Prana or energy is the instrument of Kundalini-Sakti, Sakti/Grace isn't the energy but the Creator/Goddess/Saguna Brahman of the energy. With the disturbance of the gunas, action or karma begins. There is only karma and prana in this universe. The nightly surges may or may not be kundalini-prana. Let us assume that they are, then it is a cleansing action that is working on the mind, particularly the intellectual/awareness sheath or Vijnanamayakosa. As the sheath is cleansed so to speak the surges will diminish, until at a more advanced level they will be barely perceptible in meditation. There may be some disturbance of thoughts and ideas during this cleansing, like a broom disturbs all the floor not just that which it is sweeping so to speak. There is only one way to control the surges and direct them and that is through, prayer or japa/rosary, (or something similar as an affirmation.) It has to be channeled back so to speak, so it flows much easier as it accomplishes its Spiritual task so to speak. Otherwise unchanneled prana may disturb the mind or the sexual activities in the lower cakras, instead of rising to the Heart Cakra initially. This is the importance of practise or sadhana. One has to concentrate on Prayer or a Godform of some kind. Or even an affirmation of some spiritual nature. 'Who am I' will do fine. The first time the prana surged in me, or the first time it really was heavy, I fell over in shock. I was sitting cross-legged on the floor meditating. I had felt surges throughout my life from childhood, but attributed it to rocks and my surroundings etc. This time it was heavy for I had stepped on to the path through taking up meditation, so opening the door so to speak. I had also taken up some preparatory breathing exercises or pranayama. I notice mild and pleasant movement during meditation, these days, and as Sarada Devi said, Japa will raise the Kundalini, or Consciousness. Kundalini arising to the Crown Cakra doesn't result in Moksha the Kundalini-Prana or mind has to be absorbed into the Heart or Self. In the end the timing of all this is Karmic as is everything..... It is probably a little late to wait until the surges occur. One should be doing meditation and japa/rosary either constantly in the back of one's mind or doing meditation before retiring to bed. It is wise to meditate at a similar time everyday. A few minutes will do. I used to do the corpse pose and grab meditation at work during the day sometimes. This pose has the benefit of easily de-energising the muscles, so there is no tension. You say 3 am used to be your usual meditation time. Yes, this is the Brahma Murtha and advised for spiritual seekers. Unfortunately most of us work and cannot meet this schedule in many cases. However if you are used to meditating at this time, then 'God' is looking for the appointment. You may have to change the regular appointment time, then the energy will be absorbed/transmuted into the normal meditation. There are only two ways of getting help, either from a Realised Master/Mukti or from your own Inner Self, which amounts to the same thing. The other problem to avoid, as I mentioned in my original post, is psychological and psychosomatic, due to not enough Spiritual Direction. It may require intense prayer and meditation/japa for a while, but the answer truly lies 'within'. Which is the only advice I can give, as I am not a Jivanmukta or Realised Master. Ramana and others say that if one just repeats the mantra it is ineffective; one has to be emotionally involved with it. The Vedic sounds of a mantra have to be concentrated on, so rote is impossible, if one is doing it properly. If I had a penny for each time I heard the Gayatri chanted incorrectly, I would be a rich man. The sound of OM/AUM of course is within manifestation and is not Liberation itself. Sakti is not the energy per se but Saguna Brahman that projects it. I know to many, my opinions on Kundalini are somewhat different. That is because IMO 99%+ of so called Kundalini-Prana isn't! One has to identify if one is 'experiencing' the cleansing prana, for K of course is everything as, the Universal Mind. So K-Prana is a Spiritual event. 1.There are the movements of energy impulses at the biological nerve level, and this may be due to any physical condition; arthritis, pinched nerves, spine problems, psychosomatic etc etc. 2.There is the movement of prana in the nadis, that may not be necessarily in the Sushumna. Acu-puncture type movements of energy can take place and this may not be K-Prana. These may seem to be spontaneous and out of control, and painful. The five pranas or modes are quite complicated to the uninitiated. Without going into them to deepy, they are involved in breathing, and expulsion and sometime it seems they get out of sync. Badly performed pranayama can cause this as well. When a person is dying there is a feeling of a need to defecate, for this is the prana starting to leave. A good example is my best childhood friend died a few months ago, of a heart attack. He felt an urge to defecate so he went upstairs to the toilet and took a book with him. His wife found him some time later leaning against the wall, book on his knee and dead as a doornail!--a heart attack! Kundalini being the Universal Mind is everything and doesn't make random mistakes IMO, in stimulating the cleansing of the kosas or sheaths. The nadis and sushumna, (the tunnel of light), are after all only concepts and constructs to describe the connectors of the body to the kosas. A person not on the spiritual path is not going to be subconsciously cleansing their vijnanamayakosa are they? There has to be a trigger!!! Finally as Sarada Devi says, Japa will raise the true Kundalini-Prana, perhaps even emperceptibly. IMO opinion if one has a true K experience happening it is more important to pay attention to their behaviour not the experiences. If one isn't becoming more spiritual, following a sadhana, becoming vegetarian for example, and in fact becoming a Sadhaka, in some form. Finally one has to take into account that Lakshmana Swami says the K goes straight from the Heart to the Brain, and not from the Muladhara. This indicates to me that pranas may or may not be of a spiritual nature. i.e cleansing or otherwise. The yardstick to me though is that a person become more the spiritual, less attached to the world and its sensual activities and pleasures. That is the difference between the pranas and kundalini-prana Yes I agree with that statement of Ramana's. Sometimes when 'God' calls we aren't ready in our ego mind, so we look for ways to slow it, change it, divert it into illusion etc etc. There is no Ego stronger in the world than that of an unrealised spiritual seeker. I had energies from a young person, but it really surged as an adult. There is a lot of psycho-babble and rubbish written on this subject as well of course. It is the realm of psychotics, charlatans, false gurus, hurdy-gurdy men, as well. I can only write from my own experience and comparing notes with Ramana's teachings. I was lucky that at the time of the great surge, I was already practising some Sadhana of sorts. After that I was thrown in totally to being absorbed in this spiritual path, and doing meditation and japa. I was using an Ishtadevata, as well. Also I had a Sufi guide name Ibn el Rasa, whether he was a spirit or from my own subconscious he was helpful-------take the middle path was most of his advice, if I remember. Of course in a previous life I may have gone through something similar to ERAs. Nowadays I am aware of the movement of energy during pre meditation but I don't dwell on it, I just stick to my point of meditation between the nose and lip, and some affirmation or mantras, in the background. In the end result we can only take our own advice......... I realise that what I am saying is heresy to many people, who are attached to their 'surges'. That sounds funny actually hahahah. However my last paragraph reproduced below shows that my judgementalism only goes as far as the resulting spiritualiy. The yardstick to me though is that a person become more the spiritual, less attached to the world and its sensual activities and pleasures. That is the difference between the pranas and kundalini- prana. I am aware it is all one, but the pranas are broken up so to speak to play roles, udana, apana etc, and of course Kundalini-Prana. My observation about many people, particularly Westerners, claiming K-Activity is not very enlightening. Many are attached to Sex, the surges or whatever, and I see little to claim a modicum of Spirituality. Many are charlatans, and many others are deluded or suffering from some mental breakdowns. In the end result the K-Prana activity is to result in a more cleansed Vijnanamaykosa and subsequent rise in 'awareness'. I am sure my opinon is very similar to many in India. As Lakshmana Swamy says prana raised to the sahasrara may result in some increase in siddhis but that is all. IMO it will not go down the amrita nadi to the 'Heart', if the vijnanamayakosa isn't cleansed of its vasanas and samskaras. So if it cannot do that, it begs the question doesn't it? Much of the K-activity in the end may just be people observing and experiencing the pranamayakosa, Vivekananda remarks on this I'm not trying to be judgmental or rigid. I am expressing an opinion that it is not a tantric one in the common understanding. Then again nobody in tantra will admit there is another step to Moksha via the concept of the amrita nadi as Ramana says. They believe the union of Siva/Sakti occurs at the Sahasrara and that is it.-Kula-Arnava-Tantra 8:109. I find this text quite confusing and contradictory. 9:14 it talks of Nirvikalpa Samadhi and then goes on to talk of it as an ecstasy which is an experience and therefore Saguna. They are in the main attached to the surges and ecstasies. Bliss is not the end result it is the final impediment to Moksha. Tantrikas even talk of Sahaja as being ecstatic as well. So here we are dealing with what the Sufis call 'states', and others Samadhis, in term somewhat different to Vedantic or Buddhist. Ramana says that in true Samadhi there is only Peace, as does Jesus. Ecstasy is a kind of memory that occurs approaching and leaving Samadhi. The ultimate though is that once one merges with 'God'-one becomes God and the mind is destroyed, according to Ramana. So there is a lot of different interpretation here as in Vedantic Samadhi and Buddhist Samadhi for example, a lot of semantics. IMO opinion still, what passes for K-acivity can be explained in other ways, in many cases...I understand my path is more Advaitic than Tantric and this may lead to some being confused by my statements of opinion............... .************************************* The intoxication of the Sufis is probably savikalpa samadhi of some kind, or they obviously remember it. Many people sometimes wake up in bliss which lasts for a few moments or minutes and is probably due to a direct awakening from the bliss sheath as opposed to transversing the dream plane. It has happened to me on occasions and also on awakening from meditation sometimes. Recently I awoke from my unconscious meditation in a bliss state and it lasted an hour or more. I or something was observing the bliss state, and the world was more ephemeral and didn't matter at all. I couldn't really tell if I was the state or was even separate from it. It lasted just as long as I was observing, as soom as I started to function in the world it began to diminish progressively....The memory or residual is still there though....... PART TWO. Various eclectic talks and writings. Consciousness and the process of manifestation. Miracles are essentially technology that we don’t yet understand. We are moving into micro nano technology, and unseen impulses and codes rule our world. A thought is a thing, that is, it is created by our own mind, which is thought stuff in itself. The more one can penetrate the levels of mind, the more one can perform ‘miracles’. However there are ‘Left-Hand’, yogis and magicians who also can perform some miracles, but this is not accompanied with any rise in spirituality. For even if one has some control over the lower astral planes, one can still do ‘miracles’. One cannot influence a plane higher than one’s state of mind control. Mantras or Spells, and Yantras or Mind Tools, are used to trigger the mind into performing some feats. This is because they attract the corresponding vibration, in the subtle world. So the process of real personal magic is a system of belief, concentration and intense detailed visualisation. There are other forms of unconscious, kinetic activity that seem to be triggered, by a person’s devotion to a ‘God Form’. For example, I have seen ash, and ambrosia manifesting on pictures, and fruit, in temples and people’s homes. So much so, in some cases, that a container had to be placed underneath. There is also ‘Spirit Activity’, as well, of course. What I mean by planes, are the different main divisions of consciousness, according to the Ancient Wisdom. There are infinite permutations but there appear to be certain levels. There are seven astral planes, the lower four, of which could be regarded as somewhat difficult, Pretalokas or Hell Realms. They are occupied with mishapen ghoulies, unevolved humans, animals, and non humans. All the lower humans live here, after death; criminals, drunkards, pedophiles and those with intense, unresolved hatreds and desires. They cannot satisfy their desires, so they learn from this frustrating experience. The Earth itself, as a lower plane, is a ‘Hell Realm’, and there is much astral imaging here. For example the dark, subdued lights in bars and clubs, echoes the dark, dim light of the lower astral. So does much of the negative activity on the planet. The three, higher planes, of the astral, are what we commonly call ‘Heavens’, and are more pleasant and happy. All these planes involve Beings having a recognisable form, albeit created by their own thoughts. Above the astral level we have the mental planes, the lower four of which have form and every thought produces a living picture. The higher planes consist of blissful, living energies and colours, and in that way are without accepted human form. They are amorphous energy and light shapes, so to speak. Only the most advanced spiritual beings advance to the highest levels. Above all these astral and mental planes, and suffusing them, is the ‘Consciousness’ itself, or what some would call ‘Immanent God’, or the Goddess. Above that is the inexplicable ‘Transcendent’. The Ancient Wisdom teaches that, the Transcendent, projects a creation, which It is not involved with. Like a dream I suppose. This creation has a basis, a ‘Unified Field’, or Akasa, (Unitary Principle of Matter), which is suffused with and is Consciousness. The Energy, or Prana, (Unitary Principle of Energy), at this stage is, in a perfect balance and equalibrium. This is why one could think of the later, manifested universe, as even a hologram, for conscious energy is the ground. However at certain periods it starts to manifest, and gain attributes. The perfect state is the ‘balance’, and it includes the potentiality of mind, and intelligence. The two other states enter, ‘active’, which is dynamic, and has the potential of force and activity. Lastly there is the ‘dull’, which allows condensation to matter, inertness, destruction, ignorance, inactivity, sleep and death. These three form all the infinite, computations of matter and energy, as they interact. Forming all the energies, waves and particles or the ‘Creation’. This progresses to the ‘opposites’, light and dark, joy and grief, action and reaction. This commences with vibration then radiation and ends up with condensed energy or matter. The tradition is that the vibration is ‘The Word’, OM, or Shabda, which is described as ‘Sound’. This leads to the question of; What is death? Sankara, a great philosopher of ancient times, says it is a separation from our desires, or something similar to that. So it is a transition of consciousness that’s all, a transition of where the consciousness focuses. The fear and pain come from the loss of friends, family, attachments, and things we love. When one dies, one moves initially to the ‘Border Plane’, and one would retain a recognisable form, and in many cases, some consciousness of one’s situation. After some time, usually a few days, a ‘swoon occurs’, and this form is also left behind to disintegrate and the soul entity moves on to the Astral. This is called the ‘Second Death’. Moving from the Astral would also entail, another ‘swoon’, and the disintegration of the Astral Bodies. In fact, moving up all the lower planes, involves swoon and dropping of the corresponding shell, on moving up. So called ‘Evil Descents’ come from the lower four planes of the astral, which are nearer to this material plane. Hence all the human desires and emotions are highlighted. They are nearer to the human attachments and desires of this physical plane. Because ‘beings’, who dwell in the lower planes have no desire for spirituality, they strive for egoistic dominance and power over others. Many of them are adept at moving between these lower planes and really have no desire to move any higher. These are the beings that become the Demonic Hitler, Stalin and others. Many can shape-shift and bi-locate. ( I was following, one particular teacher in India, who on more than one occasion, manifested in my own house. On one occasion, I was starting to prepare for meditation, when my dog ‘pointed’, at something. I looked at where he was looking and a subtle form took shape. This was my teacher in India, who I thought was a ‘Divine Descent’, but eventually turned out to be something else: a Rakshasa! This happened to myself and to my daughters, on several occasions.) What is shape-shifting? The process, as I understand it, from a yogic point of view, is of thought. We all travel out of our physical bodies, while we sleep, but to many of us, there is no memory of this. Sometimes we may just mistake it for a dream. However a person with this siddhi, or yogic power, can do this consciously. This involves two different methods entirely. First of all there is the bi-location effect, where a person is seen miles from where they are. This is the famous Doppelganger, or the etheric double, which really isn’t a separate body or sheath, but part of the physical body manifestation. It is a form of shape-shifting, but it is the same image and it is in a subtle form. The other type of shape-shifting, is where the form is more solidified, to appear as a normal physical body. This can be done for different periods of time depending on the person. Some yogis have the ability to shift to numerous bodies, and some can take a different form or forms altogether. It all depends on mind control, and the abilities reached in previous incarnations. . To be able to demonstrate this in multiples manifestations, at the same time takes a lot of yogic ability. Many spiritual yogis have this power but it in itself is definitely not a sign of spirituality. Anymore than riding a bicycle is. As most of the planet’s population have come up from the animal, and mixture world, they do not have the ability to perform shape-shifting or other psychic feats. That is, it is not in the subtle, memory bank of their past tendencies and abilities. To make this a little clearer, it necessary for me, to explain the concept of bodies and their sheaths. In the Ancient Wisdom, there are three bodies; material, subtle and causal. These contain several sheaths, each more subtle than the other. The more one penetrates the mind, the more one has control over the lower sheaths and matter. All is One: However each kosa fades onto the next, a bit like a rainbow's colours fade into each other. 1.) The Food Sheath. The normal human physical body. This is what is known as the ‘Material, or Physical Body’. (This is one of the reasons, why some mystics are vegetarian, for it lightens the vibrations the body is composed of.) 2.) The Vital Energy Sheath. This is connected with all the human attributes and weaknesses, and energises and heats the body. 3.) This is the normal Lower Mind:- 4.) The Awareness Sheath. This consists of pure and integrated awareness, or Higher Mind. These sheaths 2, 3, and 4, make up the ‘Subtle Body’. 5.) The Bliss and Causal sheath. The seat of Human Potentiality. This sheath is experienced unconsciously in sleep, or consciously in some meditations. Beyond this is the Universal Consciousness, ‘God/Goddess’, which blissfully, suffuses all the other sheaths, and is the ‘Ground’, of everything. This is the Universal Soul. This is what is known as the ‘Causal Body’. Depending on which level, or combination of, the person is operating at, at the time, so is the interpretation and function. So working at level 3; An answer or interpretation would be different from level 4. Those that shape-shift between planes, however are still only operating at the lower mind level. They may even touch on the higher mind, but misuse it to perform so called miracles on the lower planes of mind. For all is energy and it may change in form but cannot be destroyed, by man at least. In some past life experiences I observed ‘my body die’, several times, but it was like watching a silent movie. I also have experienced being out of my body, consciously. One time observing my body as it slept, only returning for my inner clock told me that it was time to get up. Even though we all ‘Astral Travel’, when we sleep, some consciously, some unconsciously, or mistake it for dreams, as mentioned. However on several occasions I have visited with people close to me, who have died. First of all I talked to them almost quite normally whilst they were on the Border Plane. Although, they could move around, so to speak. On one occasion I was ‘talking’, with an Aunt who had passed over and she had visited some places we were talking about and returned with questions. After a few days, about a week, of many conversations with me individually, with my daughter individually, ( My daughter is extremely sensitive and sees, and hears the spirits), and with us together, there was a change. She did not seem to answer me. So I went into a specific kind of meditation that I use on these occasions. I shall call it ‘Mind travel’, as opposed to the popular Astral travel, which is limited. I learned this from a subtle yogi, whilst I was in India. It enables me to cut through the lower planes, so to speak. I went looking for my Aunt and could not, at first, find her on the vital plane. I was passing misshapen ghoulies, and all kinds of animals and beings, on the way, then I found her. She was hanging there dead with her mouth open, it was just her, now useless, vital form/shell. So now I knew that she had gone through the ‘second death’ and moved on. With some more, meditation , I or my mind moved up to higher planes, which were quite blissful. I was looking for her and I suppose visualising her. I ‘heard’, her voice and she said that she didn’t look like that, and it was my mind creating that construct, as a tool, to communicate with her. She was happy and in some kind of learning situation, but it was above the lower planes, where people take on forms similar to their last earthform. How could I do this? Well I think there is probably some ‘past life’, experience here and of course present life meditation. Where with concentration one penetrates the levels of the astral and mental. On death, if one is a Christian, there may be saints, other beliefs would have their own structures. According to mystic and psychic tradition when one dies, one immediately checks in with the ‘Clear Light’, of consciousness. If one is able to recognise this then one merges and becomes liberated. Most have Karma that drags them down and they awake on the border plane, just above the material plane. They stay there for a time before moving up to their appropriate level of consciousness. Where they stay until their karma runs out and they take rebirth, or rather their ego and tendencies do. I have done this a few times, when necessary but strangely, when I think about it, ‘I’, was there also, with these dead people, but I am not ‘dead’. My ego consciousness was moving its focus, out of my body to the planes where it needed to go. Being dead for most people means not coming back to the body at all. Luckily, if they are liberated then all the planes of consciousness dissolve for them. There is the body, mind and soul; material body, subtle body and causal body. Eventually the physical and subtle bodies disintegrate, but the causal body remains......the food sheath, life sheath and mind sheath are impermanent. The awareness sheath and bliss sheath remain, unless one is liberated. The awareness or intellectual sheath is hardly touched on, by normal humans, and then for mostly materialistic purposes. The Awareness Sheath, as fully developed, is really an advanced being’s vehicle, like a Jesus or a Buddha. This leads to discussing other Divine Descents and their tasks and forms. The most complete, current, and ancient, available scriptures on this subject are of course Indian. Although we have some texts, from Mexico and Peru, and of course there is the Bible. There have been many Divine Descents, or Avatars, over the millions of years, and they all suited the time and place. That is the forms, of consciousness on the planet at the time. The Hindu Puranas mention numerous but there are ten, which are the most important. Many have animal forms, indicating they hark back to the time when, humans didn’t naturally appear, as they do today. Matsya or the Fish: Recovered the treasure of wisdom from the deluge. This refers, perhaps to the end of a Kalpa, or just before dissolution of the universe. Kurma Tortoise: This may refer to a ‘Creation Myth or catastrophe, where knowledge needed to be retained. It also talks about a cleansing needing to be done in the planet’s oceans. Which were full of pollution and poisons, which may have been man made or even the result of much volcanic activity. Varaha Boar : A rescuing of the planet from the watery depths. He we have the first mention of the Sanskrit names for the Adam and Eve myth, Swayambhuva Manu and Satarupa. There is also a great struggle with early forms of man or demonic beings that could travel in the dimensions. Many of these demonic beings are pictured as being part human and part animal. Narasimnha, Man-Lion Mixture: Here we have the time of the great scientist Hiranyakasipu and the oppression of his, spiritually inclined, son Prahlad. It is obvious here, that we are at the time of many mixtures, judging by the appearance of man-lion. Vamana Dwarf: This again is about a war between good and demonic beings, or the war between Adamic man and the ‘Old Lilith type’, form. He we have indications of different sizes of man. Parasu-Rama: Axe-Rama: He came in the wars between the materialists and those that wanted to follow the ‘Law of One’, and spirituality. He defeated the ruling and military castes to achieve this. This seems to be a recurring problem, throughout time. Rama. His story is much loved and tradition gives his time to be about twenty thousand years ago. He was of the New Man and he fought many wars with those of the ‘Old Animal Man’ or Rakshasas, eventually defeating them in the form of Ravana of Lanka, a mysterious continent in the Ocean. He was helped by the bear mix people and the monkey mix people, led by their king Hanuman, who was said to be proficient in grammar and music. Krishna: He came to defeat the materialist again, and again establish the ‘Law of One’. He is said to have been born about five thousand years ago, based on the astrology and position of the sky, at the time of his birth. This was the start of this Kali Yuga or Age. Buddha: Perfect yourself so that you may aid others to perfect themselves. He also came to show the way to end suffering. Kalki: Build the mansion of life on Truth, morality, peace, love and non-violence. This is the Avatar supposedly to come, at the end of this age, in a few hundred thousand years, and usher in the new Sathya, Krita, or Age of Truth. From some other traditions we have; Osiris: Who came in Atlantis some 22,000 years ago to teach, and re-establish the One Truth. This spirituality was taken to Egypt by Toth, otherwise known as Hermes, and is essentially the teachings that Moses knew. Jesus: He was the Avatar of Love and came to proclaim this Unity and resist the decadence of the Roman and other Empires. His teaching were essentially the same as the Ancient Wisdom. Quetzalcoatl: He was the Avatar of the Americas, and is known by different names, in different regions. It seems there were other teachers, of the same name that came later, especially in Mexico. These Divine Descents and their stories, indicate a lot in the folk memory and scriptures. A lot about creation, periodic destructions on the planet, different types of beings that souls dwelt in, and finally wars between the Hybrids and the New Man. I find the Rama story of particular interest, for it describes these shape-shifting beings, or Rakshasas/Nefilm/Ogres and their control on the planet. I believe that the Power Elite today are descended from these Rakshasas. THE PERIODS, AND AGES OF THE UNIVERSE. It is helpful to describe the ages of the universe and earth, when discussing unidentified flying objects and aliens. The records preserved in India, and elsewhere, I feel, were preserved from the Mu or Lemurian Civilisation. India, at one time was probably contiguous with the continent of Mu. This Motherland Continent was supposed to have stretched from what is East Africa to Easter Island. It supposedly founded Atlantis, India, Egypt, America, and other areas such as Gobi, as colonies. I show these to illustrate the antiquity of the planet and its ‘human’ occupation. I use the word ‘human’ to describe the spirit and intelligence, rather than the bodily form, which varied considerably. In the Ancient Wisom idea, each Creation, or Kalpa, is called a Day and each Dissolution or Pralaya, is called a Night, of the Creator. The universe is supposed to have commenced about 15,757,969,000,000, years ago, approximately. Modern science has a date of 11, (at present), as opposed to 15, I believe. A Kalpa last for 4,320,000,000, ( modern science says the solar system is 4.5 billion years old), human years, and is divided into 14 Manvantaras, or periods, of 71 cycles of Ages or Yugas. Every Kalpa has 1,000 cycles of the 4 Yugas. Each cycle is of 4,320,000, human years. The 4 Yugas are; Counting from the back. Sathya, Krita, or Truth, which lasts for 1,728,000, years. Treta or Third, which lasts for 1,296,000, years. 3.) Dwapara or Second, which lasts for 864,000, years. Kali, Age of the Destruction, and quarrels, which lasts for 432,000, years. The Kali Yuga is our present one and it only started, about 5,000 years ago, so it has a long way to run. It is an age of spiritual decline and eventually civilisation itself will decline. In the Sathya, or Krita Yuga, people were gigantic in size, perhaps as tall as twenty feet, and lived for hundreds of years. As the Yugas, or ages, progress, humans become smaller, and longevity is reduced. So that at the time of Rama, twenty thousand years ago, they had diminished to about twelve feet tall. (Skeletons this size have been found in Peru, Europe and America). Until down to the present time, man is usually no more than six feet tall, and only lives up to about one hundred years. So it is, that man will completely decline, living only twenty years or so, be only three or four foot tall, and there will be much horror and violence on the planet. People will live in bands, like tribes of monkeys, and in fact will have regressed. Eventually the planet will be subjected to catastrophes, the population will be almost wiped out, and the cycle will start again with the New, Sathya, Krita, Yuga. So there have been approximately three to four Kalpas, or Ages, since the Astral Descents, that became human, have been on the planet, and two Kalpas since the descent of Adamic man. This is enough time for many civilisations to be wiped out, and for man to be almost destroyed, time and again. This is no doubt why they find, machined tools in lumps of coal from deep in the mines. This coal having been laid down millions of years ago. There is nothing new under the sun, so to speak. . ( The Maya of Yucatan, Mexico also had a system of time periods, going back millions of years. The present one is supposed to end in December, 2012, and is tied to cycles on the Sun.) U.F.O.s So where does this leave the U.F.O.s? Well the lower astral planes contain many dimensions, and it is possible that these visits are from there or perhaps even different planets. In fact the material and the immediately associated, lower plane could contain infinite forms of beings. What I am saying, is that some are subtle manifestations of some kind and others are technological. Perhaps interdimensional or from parallel universes. However I am strongly convinced that many are actually ‘visits’, from different time periods on our own planet. That is from our future and from a very dim and distant past. I am somewhat familiar with the ancient Hindu texts, and they refer to different land masses, which have sank and civilisations, that have disappeared. They also refer to advanced technology, where flying machines, as big as cities existed. So it is not necessary to absolutely posit the theory, that all ancient advanced technology came from aliens. These writings, of course, being originally a verbal record, were laid down after the event so current imagery is used, to try and describe the incidents. For example a flying machine that is called a Pushpaka is described as a flying chariot. ‘We beheld in the sky what appeared to us to be a mass of scarlet cloud, resembling the flames of a blazing fire. From this mass many blazing missiles flashed, and tremendous roars, like the noise of a thousand drums beaten at once. And from it fell many weapons winged with gold and thousands of thunderbolts, with loud explosions, and many hundreds of fiery wheels. Loud became the uproar of falling horses, slain by these missiles, and of mighty elephants struck by the explosions. With cries of ‘Oh’ and ‘Alas’, the wandering army seemed on the point of being annihilated. Those terrible Rakshasas had the shape of large mounds stationed in the sky.’ From the Ramayana. Believed to be 18,000 B.C. approx.* “ A blazing missile possessed of the radiance of smokeless fire was discharged. A thick gloom suddenly encompassed the hosts. All points of the compass were suddenly enveloped in darkness. Evil bearing winds began to blow. Clouds roared into the higher air, showering blood. The very elements seemed confused. The sun appeared to spin round. The world, scorched by the heat of that weapon, seemed to be in a fever. Elephants, scorched by the energy of that terrible weapon, ran in terror, seeking protection from its terrible force. The very water being heated, the creatures who live in the water seemed to burn. The enemy fell like trees that are burned down in a raging fire. Huge elephants, burned by that weapon, fell all around. Others, scorched, ran hither and thither, and roared around fearfully in the midst of the blazing forest. The steeds and the chariots, burned by the energy of that weapon, resemble the stumps of trees that have been consumed in a forest conflagration. Thousands of chariots fell down on all sides. Darkness the hid the entire army…..And the cool winds began to blow. All points of the compass became clearer and bright. Then we beheld a wonderful sight. Burned up by the terrible power of that weapon, the forms of the slain could not even be distinguished.’ The Mahabharata. C. 3,500 B.C. According to the description of the sky, in the texts.* The Ramayana and the Mahabharata are Scriptures which include the Avatars Rama, and Krishna and are read by all Hindus. Translations are readily available, as they are currently studied in most Hindu Temples. There are many other scriptures besides these of course. India is a treasure house of this sort of thing. No wonder Jesus studied and spent so much time there. ( In these various scriptures, a form of sound waves is talked about, as being the method of propulsion for flying machines. Even the atom, or Anu, is described, along with all kinds of mathematical formulae. It is no coincidence, that Einstein and Oppenheimer read these old scriptures. Particularly some Puranas, or ancient sacred myths, and the Atharva Veda, which is full of all kinds of scientific formulae.) It is said that, aeons ago, the Emperor Hiranyakasipu, overcame the knowledge of all matter, was a great scientist, and could manipulate matter completely. In other words he had knowledge down to the finest sub atomic structure or ‘Unified Field’. So great in fact that he had ships that could travel to the stars. Legend has it that he could travel the area of the ‘Pole Star’. According to scripture, it was the time, of the sixth Manvantara of the present Kalpa/Age, or a couple of million years ago! Perhaps the universe was seeded by the human beings of that time, and now they return to their original planet for visits. In other words, perhaps, we are being visited, by people who have the same ancestors, although they have evolved differently, over the couple of million years. They may have even returned and conducted experiments, and genetic engineering. Producing hybrids again, even though millions of years apart, from the first hybrids on this planet. It is not hard to believe that a technology, such as that, could time travel as well. Even Stephen Hawking, probably the world’s greatest physicist, says, that he no longer opposes the theory, of time travel, anymore. So perhaps some of the differences in appearances, of the visiting aliens, is due to different time periods, on the planet. Some are similar in appearance to us and others appear to resemble humans but with some attributes atrophied. Such as powerful physique and hair, which would be unnecessary in a highly evolved civilisation. It is not too much of a stretch, to theorise that humans with millions of years of advanced technology behind them, would look different. It is actually easier to accept that hypothesis, than to believe that the same conditions on Earth, have happened elsewhere. Many planets have been discovered recently, as many as thirteen locally. It is quite likely that pyramids and structures, built by Earth people, and others, from Hiranyakasipu’s time, will have been built there. The odds, in infinity, is that earthlike conditions exist, of course, even randomly, for there are many, probably, oval shaped universes. And there is the fact that technology can tailor environments, if it is advanced enough. So we have the periodic Pralayas, or Dissolutions of the universes. Which subsume everything, including the subtle worlds. The proton is itself determined to decay. So each new universe would develop differently, but would carry the tendencies from the previous manifestation. Hence the tendency to make discoveries in science and technology. PART THREE: JESUS It seems to me that the Essenic influence has been overlooked in favour of a Judaic standard, with regard to Jesus. Josephus does say that there were about 4,000 Essenes, and perhaps seven thousand Pharisees and a few thousand Sadducees. Josephus also claims to have lived with the Essenes so would have a personal understanding of what they believed. This is besides the general population of course. Pliny, Philo and many others wrote about the Essenes as well. The Catholic Encyclopedia now recognises a debt to the Essenes, since the Dead Sea Scrolls. If Jesus came from an Essenic background then he wouldn't have been either Pharisaic or Sadducean. He would have had a broader belief system with other influences from mystery groups in Egypt, India, Egypt. The claims to be Son of God or only begotten come from the later Christians. St Augustine is quoted as saying that which is now called Christian has always existed, since the beginning of time. In fact they also had an installation in Egypt at Heliopolis, probably harking back beyond Akhenaten, the monotheist. They also had contact with other groups around the world and as far away as India. Which isn’t surprising for the Buddhists were in Alexandria. I don't understand why the Pharisees would have been persecuting the Essenes and Christians but it is not hard to see how the Sadducees would be. Was Paul working for the Temple Police? It is mentioned in the Scrolls that the Teacher of Righteousness was killed by the wicked Priest, this would fit in with the fact the Sadducees regarded the prophets as heretics. Although this was up to a hundred years before Jesus. However the Essenes believed their teacher would reincarnate again. Perhaps we should look more to Mt Karmel and Egypt for an idea of what Jeshua believed and came out of. I have never presumed he was a member of a regular Jewish sect. Galilee was even full of Greek settlements at this time as well...This is presuming that Jeshua really existed and I believe that he did. Why? Well apart from the billions that believe the same, there are writings from near the time of Jesus. Notably Josephus, Pliny, Plutarch some other Roman Historians, the Gospels and the Talmud. Most of this evidence is believed to be in the Vatican Library today. For every detractor there is always a rebuttal, and how many people can prove that their great great grandmother existed even? I believe Jesus was in India for it appears in his sayings, which are very non dual in some aspects, and betray a more non dual philosophy as that espoused by Essenes and Early Christians. I would challenge the members of these ‘Jesus was a myth’, group to prove their shaky intellectual case. Instead of circumlocutive assertions about redaction and interloping and other catch words. Prove the case that he and God don’t exist! So this book will try to put a picture of Jesus that is nearer to the time that he lived in, and closer to what he really may have been. A Jesus existing and teaching, before the incorporation of various myths, into the Christian Religion. This book will only cover the very early years of what is known as Christianity or Messianism, Masiach in Hebrew, Nasorean/Nazarite/Nazorene, Jessean/Essene, but will include other traditions such as India, and mystic writings. This will include the Gnostics, the Gospels, Edgar Cayce Readings, Indian Texts, and evidence of Jesus or Issa in India and Tibet. I will not go into the veracity of names in the Bible etc, as the names don’t matter that much for this work. Paul's discussion of Christ overcoming death. In Romans 5:12 we read: "Therefore just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, in this way death came to all men." 1 Cor. 15:22 adds, "For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive." The roots of this mystery go back tof the fall of humanity. Professor Gottlieb Klein wrote that by means of the method known as notarikon, which regarded each letter of a word as the initial letter of another word, the three Hebrew letters of the word 'Adam' were interpreted as referring to Adam, David, and the Messiah. In this way Christ will 'correct' Adam's fall. The evidence from the Dead Sea Scrolls indicates a link with the Essenes, and many of the Gospels are replete with Scroll sayings, even beatitudes. Most of the scrolls were written up to circa 50CE, so the fact that they contain what appear to be extracts from the gospels, such as Mark, shouldn’t be surprising. Whether Jesus referred to His own Essenic teachings or whether they reflect his, it doesn’t matter for the link is proven. Even St Paul has quoted passages in his letters that also appear in the Essenic Dead Sea Scrolls. Jesus was it seems more flexible than many Essenes with regard to the Sabbath and Ascetism, and this may have come from the influence of the Buddhist, ‘Middle Way’. The gospel of Mark was probably written in the first twenty to thirty years after the crucifixion, or even earlier. It is not logical to wait a hundred years to write something down, when the Essenes were obviously accomplished scribes. Nobody mentions the Essenes after the fall of Jerusalem and this is probably because the Essenes became called the Christians. In fact there is no mention of them after 40CE. So it is apparent that they felt that Jesus was their expected spiritual Messiah, and coalesced, in the main, into what we would later call Christians. Jesus would have been known as the ‘Expected One’, and raised in such a fashion. They were expecting a Messiah that would be spiritual not temporal, so Jesus would have fitted that description. His miracles and teaching would have proved that, particularly the raising of Lazarus and of course his own Resurrection. This seems to be the reason for their existence from time immemorial. It seems that James the brother of Jesus, and perhaps a Nazerite, led the Church or Assembly at Jerusalem after Jesus’s Ascension. James was himself martyred by being thrown from the Temple Tower and stoned to death, at the instigation of Ananas, a Sadducean priest. James’ brother Simeon then took over the Jerusalem Assembly or Church and Peter no doubt followed Paul to Rome, or perhaps was already abroad somewhere. James is describe by writers as being Ascetic, wearing a linen dress, having long, but manicured hair and beard. He was also a vegetarian and kept to a strict diet, took no alcohol and bathed daily as a Nazerite. The wine mentioned n th gospels is a ‘Must’, or grape juice drunk by the Essenes. The Essenes also rose with the sun and prayed in its direction, not as a God but for what was behind the Sun. This somewhat similar to the mystery schools of Egypt, supposedly encouraged by Akhenaten. They had their own temples and wouldn’t enter the Temple in Jerusalem as they regarded it as ritually unclean and polluting. This is because of the animal sacrifices and other reasons to do with the occupants presumably. This resonates with Jesus whipping the money changers and sellers of sacrificial animals out of the Temple. Another difference that they had with the Pharisees and Sadducees, is that the Essenes used a solar not lunar calendar, so there were differences in the dates of celebrating holidays. The Essenes, like the early Christians shared property in common, used the greeting, ‘Peace be with you’, and had a sacrificial meal the same as the Last Supper. However there were several groups of Essenes, and there were monastic groups, such as at Qumran and others that lived in the villages and towns and were perhaps not subject to the same rules. For they married had children and businesses and lived normal lives, if somewhat different from their non-Essenic neighbours. Jesus was probably more involved with these Essenes on his mission, and seemed to have a more expansive view, with regard to intermarriage with non Hebrews and non Essenes. The Essenes were also Kabbalists and prophets. They healed the sick, did social work and foretold the future, and were much into astrology. They also believed in Reincarnation, Baptism, communicating with Angels, and it is not a long bow to see John the Baptist as an Essene. There are some interesting myths around this time, that may indicate Rome’s lack of persecution of the Christians at this time. It is rumoured that Pilate’s son was cured of epilepsy by Jesus, which would account for his reluctance to carry out the death penalty demanded by the Temple Priests. Which he was obliged to do under the occupation law. Also Vespasian was given a reading at the Essenic, Mt Karmel Temple, that he would become the Emperor of Rome. He did so about 69 CE and shortly after, Jerusalem was destroyed. Couple this with the fact that Jesus’s sister Ruth married a high Roman Official, who it seems had the ear of the Emperor, and you have the guarantee of the initial growth of Christianity, and the recall of Pilate to Rome. These ideas have been given in the Edgar Cayce readings. The whole idea of a Messiah that the Essenes had goes back to the actual days of Adam or the Adamics. They used a book called the Book of Enoch, which the early Christians also used. In Genesis 6: there is a tale of the fallen angels mixing with the daughters of man, well the same story in Enoch but a little more is told. ] GOG GOSPEL OF THOMAS COMMENTARY/PURPORTS: by Tony O’Clery. 2004. I have left untouched the translation of this Gospel and have only added my PURPORTS/Commentaries to what the various sayings mean from a Vedantic or Eastern Philosophy point of View, in my opinion. The reference to the word 'Jew' should not be taken in its modern meaning but rather as 'Judean' or more likely Herodian Sadducees, as they were busy persecuting Essenes, Pharisees and other 'Prophet Believers' alike. "Namaste, Tony-ji, I just browsed through your site on the Gospel of Thomas. It is wonderful. I shall keep reading it more and more in detail. In the meantime I recommend it to all the members of this list for their reading. Your purports are illuminating and refreshing from an advaitin's point of view. Thanks for bringing it to my notice. PraNAms to all seekers of Truth.. Professor V.K. Krishnamurthy. http://www.geocities.com/profvk/ THE GOSPEL OF THOMAS Translations by: Thomas O. Lambdin (Coptic version) B.P Grenfell & A.S. Hunt (Greek Fragments) Bentley Layton (Greek Fragments) And Craig Schenk… ----------------------------------------------------------------- II: Coptic Gospel of Thomas P) These are the secret sayings which the living Jesus spoke and which Didymos Judas Thomas wrote down. 1) And He said, "Whoever finds the interpretation of these sayings will not experience death." Purport: All purports by O’Clery. I interpret this to mean that whoever understands and applies these teachings will achieve Liberation or Moksha/Nirvana/Kingdom of Heaven. Death is a separation from our desires and attachments, according to the great philosopher Sri Sankaryacharya. So once all our attachments have gone and the mind is purified we can gain Liberation. 2) Jesus said, "Let him who seeks continue seeking until he finds. When he finds, he will become troubled. When he becomes troubled, he will be astonished, and he will rule over the All." Purport: The Seeker will search and will find out the truth even intellectually. This will trouble him or her for it is a surprise when compared with the world normally. However by understanding he/she will gain Liberation. This troubling is also known as the ‘Dark night of the Soul’, for it is a turmoil to turn around all one’s preconceived notions of why we are here at all. One becomes surprised at the path and takes it, and by purification of the body and mind one can achieve Liberation. Put simply one is surprised to find that one shouldn’t be here on the planet at all. 3) Jesus said, "If those who lead you say, 'See, the Kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the Kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you. When you come to know yourselves, then you will become known, and you will realize that it is you who are the sons of the living Father. But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty." Purport: It is not that ‘God’ is everywhere it is that ‘God’ is everything. This is about raising one’s consciousness above the mundane level. For if one compares oneself to the birds and say the Kingdom is in the sky, then they will precede you for it is their element. The same goes for fish in the sea or anything else. One has to know oneself and realise the Kingdom is within, by doing that one will have a spiritual wealth. However if one doesn’t know oneself, one is one with all the non spiritual. However knowing in the spiritual sense means gaining Liberation. Therefore seeing the Kingdom within and without and everything just a projection of ‘God’. 4) Jesus said, "The man old in days will not hesitate to ask a small child seven days old about the place of life, and he will live. For many who are first will become last, and they will become one and the same." Purport: This means that innocence is what gains one entry to Liberation, surrender to the will of God. A child has no developed ego at that stage, and the ego is something that comes from outside oneself. Even later a child is still innocent and even talks in the third person, no I, I, I, I Am. Position in life has nothing to do with spirituality, and in the end result there is no first or last but One Only. 5) Jesus said, "Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you. For there is nothing hidden which will not become manifest." Purport: Basically this means non-duality; see everything as one, as a manifestation or projection of God. To realise that we are within all and all is in the mind, and we are not outside of it. God is everything including ourselves. Once we can get to the point were we see all as God completely we are Liberated. 6) His disciples questioned Him and said to Him, "Do you want us to fast? How shall we pray? Shall we give alms? What diet shall we observe?" Jesus said, "Do not tell lies, and do not do what you hate, for all things are plain in the sight of Heaven. For nothing hidden will not become manifest, and nothing covered will remain without being uncovered." Purport: This again refers to knowledge and particularly knowledge of oneself, one’s true Inner Self, and that karma is the law and nothing escapes it. It is also referring to one’s conscience as a guide, and the importance of keeping to the truth. For the truth will out eventually, and this truth is the spiritual truth----All is One. 7) Jesus said, "Blessed is the lion which becomes man when consumed by man; and cursed is the man whom the lion consumes, and the lion becomes man." Purport: This refers to Dharma or Right Conduct, and the order of things. For a lion to eat a man is quite normal in nature, however when the lion becomes a man in its next life it is a curse. For it carries with it the animal tendencies of previous lives and species. (There is an Eastern Belief that an animal killed and eaten by man becomes human in its next life due to the sacrifice.) 8) And He said, "The Kingdom is like a wise fisherman who cast his net into the sea and drew it up from the sea full of small fish. Among them the wise fisherman found a fine large fish. He threw all the small fish back into the sea and chose the large fish without difficulty. Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear." Purport: This is about being ripe for Liberation, like a fruit that drops when ripe. So there is a time for a human to become spiritually aware and ready for Liberation. So when speaking to a crowd it is like casting a wide net, not all will be ready or understand. It also infers that ‘The Kingdom’ makes its choice of those who are ready. 9) Jesus said, "Now the sower went out, took a handful (of seeds), and scattered them. Some fell on the road; the birds came and gathered them up. Others fell on the rock, did not take rood in the soil, and did not produce ears. And others fell on thorns; they choked the seed(s) and worms ate them. And others fell on the good soil and produced good fruit: it bore sixty per measure and a hundred and twenty per measure." Purport: This is much in the same vein as ‘pearls before swine’, people have to have a certain level of awareness to understand the teachings. There is no point in confusing people with lower levels of awareness. The seeds of the teachings will only take root in minds fertile, and mature enough to understand them. An extreme example would be teaching vegetarianism at a slaughterhouse for example. 10) Jesus said, "I have cast fire upon the world, and see, I am guarding it until it blazes." Purport: This is much in the vein of the ‘Good Shepherd’. Jesus has made the teaching and is guarding and guiding until it takes hold. It could be seen as the fire of Spiritual Knowledge or Jnana. (Also it could refer to rising Kundalini which is seen as a fire that rises to a blaze, or the Sahasrara Cakra.) 11) Jesus said, "This heaven will pass away, and the one above it will pass away. The dead are not alive, and the living will not die. In the days when you consumed what is dead, you made it what is alive. When you come to dwell in the light, what will you do? On the day when you were one you became two. But when you become two, what will you do?" Purport: This is talking about dissolution/pralaya of the universe, when all matter is subsumed into ‘God’. The living are the realized for they have overcome death. Dying does not make you alive in the spirit, only realization can do that. Becoming two is referring to the duality or non sexuality of the soul. It has suggestions of reincarnation and taking up a separate sex, after time in the heaven planes…( Also all that is eaten is reborn again anyway, it is just energy consuming energy without it being destroyed. Some Hindus believe an animal becomes a human in the next life because of the sacrifice.) 12) The disciples said to Jesus, "We know that You will depart from us. Who is to be our leader?" Jesus said to them, "Wherever you are, you are to go to James the righteous, for whose sake heaven and earth came into being." Purport: Obviously here James is being put up as the successor to Jesus, and these followers were probably attached to James already. Heaven and earth came into being to set opposites so the soul can learn. James is seemingly a good disciple and ready for Liberation. He of course did become the ‘Bishop’, of the Jerusalem Church or Assembly. He was the brother of Jesus and son of Mary, but was very much a pious Ascetic/Nazerite, similar to the Jains. (James was martyred by being thrown down from the temple tower and then stoned. Simeon, another brother of Jesus’ succeeded him as Bishop of the Jerusalem Church.) 13) Jesus said to His disciples, "Compare me to someone and tell Me whom I am like." Simon Peter said to Him, "You are like a righteous angel." Matthew said to Him, "You are like a wise philosopher." Thomas said to Him, "Master, my mouth is wholly incapable of saying whom You are like." Jesus said, "I am not your master. Because you have drunk, you have become intoxicated by the bubbling spring which I have measured out." And He took him and withdrew and told him three things. When Thomas returned to his companions, they asked him, "What did Jesus say to you?" Thomas said to them, "If I tell you one of the things which he told me, you will pick up stones and throw them at me; a fire will come out of the stones and burn you up." Purport: I feel this is Jesus talking again about all being One. In fact because he gave the teaching that they enjoyed, this doesn’t make him any different from them. All is One and a projection of the One God, all is God, we are God. This would frighten some disciples who were dualistic and others would consider it blasphemy. It is indicated that even the stones are conscious. A Messiah is one thing but all being God is another. However in the Bible, Exodus III, Jave or Jehovah means ‘I am that I am’. So the original ‘I Am’, is the manifestation of ‘God’. 14) Jesus said to them, "If you fast, you will give rise to sin for yourselves; and if you pray, you will be condemned; and if you give alms, you will do harm to your spirits. When you go into any land and walk about in the districts, if they receive you, eat what they will set before you, and heal the sick among them. For what goes into your mouth will not defile you, but that which issues from your mouth - it is that which will defile you." Purport: This is Jesus saying that fasting with ego will only put the desires on hold, ready to bounce back greater than before. Giving alms with idea of helping only builds the ego, one must surrender the fruits of action. As Jesus said ‘It is not I but my father that is in me that does the work’. Praying indicates asking God as a separate entity for something. When one should be thinking of the God we are, meditate in other words. Also in surrender eat what is offered just like a Buddhist monk. What we say is usually more dangerous to our progress than what we eat, for it indicates our mind. 15) Jesus said, "When you see one who was not born of woman, prostrate yourselves on your faces and worship him. That one is your Father." Purport: Here he is talking of manifestation of God, rather than humans. Also realizing the spirit within. So here we are talking of divine descents, who were manifested rather than born. This is the concept of Avatars, Bhodisattvas and Messiahs, such as Jesus, Enoch, Melchizadek, Krishna, Buddha, and Rama. It seems they are one stop from merging with the Universal but hold back a thought, in order to reincarnate and help humanity. So except for the thought they are actually manifestations of the Sakti or God in Creation. They are a vehicle to help, they need not have taken birth,( Karana Janma), but could have waited for the Pralaya or Dissolution of the universe to merged eternally. 16) Jesus said, "Men think, perhaps, that it is peace which I have come to cast upon the world. They do not know that it is dissension which I have come to cast upon the earth: fire, sword, and war. For there will be five in a house: three will be against two, and two against three, the father against the son, and the son against the father. And they will stand solitary." Purport: Spiritual truth is never welcome in a material world. So pointing out the error of materialism is revolutionary to most people full of desires. Jesus’s teaching would be regarded as creating dissension in the status quo. One has to work out one’s own karma in the world. Even in families spiritual people are not accepted in many cases. In the end result it is one’s own responsibility to work out one’s spiritual realization. 17) Jesus said, "I shall give you what no eye has seen and what no ear has heard and what no hand has touched and what has never occurred to the human mind." Purport: Jesus is talking of the non dual teaching again. That all is one and that the mind has to rise above for it is the impediment itself. It is the teaching that we ourselves are God and that is our own Inner Self. 18) The disciples said to Jesus, "Tell us how our end will be." Jesus said, "Have you discovered, then, the beginning, that you look for the end? For where the beginning is, there will the end be. Blessed is he who will take his place in the beginning; he will know the end and will not experience death." Purport: There is no beginning but there is an end to illusion. Liberation follows this realization. For by finding the beginning one finds there is no end or no beginning but Liberation. The Kingdom of Heaven is within. In Non Dual Vedantic thought, creation never ever happened at all.(It is regarded as a projected dream of ‘God’, that disappears on realization. In fact it disappears everytime we go into deep dreamless sleep.) 19) Jesus said, "Blessed is he who came into being before he came into being. If you become My disciples and listen to My words, these stones will minister to you. For there are five trees for you in Paradise which remain undisturbed summer and winter and whose leaves do not fall. Whoever becomes acquainted with them will not experience death." Purport: Here he is talking about the universal consciousness,(before Abraham was I am), and achieving Liberation by listening to the teachings. The stones ministering is an analogy about all being One, even with the stones. The five trees is harder to explain but I feel it is about, no death or change, and about the steps to liberation, kundalini, and spiritual truths. 20) The disciples said to Jesus, "Tell us what the Kingdom of Heaven is like." He said to them, "It is like a mustard seed, the smallest of all seeds. But when it falls on tilled soil, it produces a great plant and becomes a shelter for birds of the sky." Purport: The Kingdom is within and anybody living in this spiritual state will be expansive and loving to all. The Christ Energy or ‘I am that I am’, flows out of a person in this realized state. However the message has to fall on those that are ready, and have a certain mental maturity and a purified mind. There is also the idea that large and minuscule have no relevance with the spiritual, for whatever is large can be small and whatever is small can be large. Also the birds represent people/souls who can take refuge in the Kingdom. 21) Mary said to Jesus, "Whom are Your disciples like?" He said, "They are like children who have settled in a field which is not theirs. When the owners of the field come, they will say, 'Let us have back our field.' They (will) undress in their presence in order to let them have back their field and give it back to them. Therefore I say to you, if the owner of a house knows that the thief is coming, he will begin his vigil before he comes and will not let him into his house of his domain to carry away his goods. You, then, be on your guard against the world. Arm yourselves with great strength lest the robbers find a way to come to you, for the difficulty which you expect will (surely) materialize. Let there be among you a man of understanding. When the grain ripened, he came quickly with his sickle in his hand and reaped it. Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear." Purport: This is about children or being like children in innocence, but having to watch for temptation all the time. We have to watch out for our tendencies and faults, so they don’t control us. Also we are not of the body, it is not ours. Do not waste the time or life given to you to Realise yourselves. The undressing is more obtuse and could mean the dress of the body, giving up the body for realization or attachment to same. 22) Jesus saw infants being suckled. He said to His disciples, "These infants being suckled are like those who enter the Kingdom." They said to Him, "Shall we then, as children, enter the Kingdom?" Jesus said to them, "When you make the two one, and when you make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside, and the above like the below, and when you make the male and the female one and the same, so that the male not be male nor the female female; and when you fashion eyes in the place of an eye, and a hand in place of a hand, and a foot in place of a foot, and a likeness in place of a likeness; then will you enter [the Kingdom]." Purport: Being like children is innocence and surrender to the Divine. Becoming a realized person and going through actions like a child automatically suckles and cannot remember doing so. In India this is a way of describing how a Jivanmukta operates. As he has no ego the mind being used is the Universal-Sakti. He has no reason to commit to memory for him there is no time, so his actions are the involuntary actions of playing out karma. Kind of like turning off the engine on a spinning wheel, the wheel spins until the energy is exhausted. For the ego is gone and actions are automatic. Also the soul is sexless so by becoming a realized person one unites the energies. 23) Jesus said, "I shall choose you, one out of a thousand, and two out of ten thousand, and they shall stand as a single one." Purport: This refers to the small amount of people that become realized, and again ‘single one’ refers to all being one. Becoming Realised we merge with the Universal Consciousness and are One. Nisargadatta Maharaj inferred that only one in ten million can understand non duality even intellectually, never mind become Realised. 24) His disciples said to Him, "Show us the place where You are, since it is necessary for us to seek it." He said to them, "Whoever has ears, let him hear. There is light within a man of light, and he (or "it") lights up the whole world. If he (or "it") does not shine, he (or "it") is darkness." Purport: This is describing the state of being realized, the state within, where all is One. Being unrealized as a normal human is being in a state of separation and darkness. What they are looking for is within themselves, the Inner Self, and they should share this light with all humanity. The normal human unrealized state is actually darkness. 25) Jesus said, "Love your brother like your soul, guard him like the pupil of your eye." Purport: This means love all and regard all as One again. There is no separation between people for we are all one and there is really only one soul in the universe. 26) Jesus said, "You see the mote in your brothers eye, but you do not see the beam in your own eye. When you cast the beam out of your own eye, then you will see clearly to cast the mote from your brother's eye." Purport: Look to your own failings before looking for the same failings in others. Usually the faults we see in others are the faults we are most aware of in ourselves. 27) "If you do not fast as regards the world, you will not find the Kingdom. If you do not observe the Sabbath as a Sabbath, you will not see the Father." Purport: Give up attachment to things of the world, and give all to the Father. Everything must become a mental and spiritual Sabbath, where all is offered to the Lord, who is the doer not us. 28) Jesus said, "I took my place in the midst of the world, and I appeared to them in the flesh. I found all of them intoxicated; I found none of them thirsty. And My soul became afflicted for the sons of men, because they are blind in their hearts and do not have sight; for empty they came into the world, and empty too they seek to leave the world. But for the moment they are intoxicated. When they shake off their wine, then they will repent." Purport: Men are intoxicated with the world and fascinated with material possessions, but eventually they will wake up and take the spiritual path. For material possessions cannot be taken with one at death. 29) Jesus said, "If the flesh came into being because of spirit, it is a wonder. But if spirit came into being because of the body, it is a wonder of wonders. Indeed, I am amazed at how this great wealth has made its home in this poverty." Purport: It is amazing how the soul entity has become entangled in matter and a body, losing sight of its spiritual knowledge. Here it is emphasized that the Soul didn’t come into being because of the body. This indicates the pre-existence of the Soul. 30) Jesus said, "Where there are three gods, they are gods. Where there are two or one, I am with him." Purport: This refers to God Transcendent and God Immanent, the only ‘Two’ Gods, Who are really One. So this is teaching that there is only one God. 31) Jesus said, "No prophet is accepted in his own village; no physician heals those who know him." Purport: Familiarity breed contempt and faith is not instilled. 32) Jesus said, "A city being built on a high mountain and fortified cannot fall, nor can it be hidden." Purport: The disadvantage of the obvious and the material, for the spirit is the hidden truth. Also could mean that one has to become a fortress against temptation. 33) Jesus said, "Preach from your housetops that which you will hear in your ear {(and) in the other ear}. For no one lights a lamp and puts it under a bushel, nor does he put it in a hidden place, but rather he sets it on a lampstand so that everyone who enters and leaves will see its light." Purport: Tell the truth of your heart and what the real spiritual truth is. Expand your love to all, do not hide to yourself, for that is not expansion. 34) Jesus said, "If a blind man leads a blind man, they will both fall into a pit." Purport: Do not teach unless you are realized, for only a true Master/Messiah/Avatar or Sadguru can teach the ultimate. 35) Jesus said, "It is not possible for anyone to enter the house of a strong man and take it by force unless he binds his hands; then he will (be able to) ransack his house." Purport: One has to control one’s desires and attachments, to achieve spiritual progress. So it is like a chariot and the senses are the horses and they must be controlled by the reins. 36) Jesus said, "Do not be concerned from morning until evening and from evening until morning about what you will wear." Purport: Do not be attached to things of the world, and fashion. Surrender to ‘God’, and He will take on your care and karma, for he is the doer anyway, and what is written is written. 37) His disciples said, "When will You become revealed to us and when shall we see You?" Jesus said, "When you disrobe without being ashamed and take up your garments and place them under your feet like little children and tread on them, then [will you see] the Son of the Living One, and you will not be afraid" Purport: Become innocent and surrendering to ‘God’, then you will know. Sacrifice the ego mind for it is the impediment to Realisation. Like traveling on a train with your suitcase, don’t carry it, put it down the train will carry you and your suitcase. Like the milk maids with Krishna, they were not embarrassed to be naked, for they knew he didn’t see them like that. 38) Jesus said, "Many times have you desired to hear these words which I am saying to you, and you have no one else to hear them from. There will be days when you look for Me and will not find Me." Purport: Take the opportunity of this presence right now. You have the good karma to hear the teachings now in this life, don’t waste the opportunity. 39) Jesus said, "The Pharisees and the scribes have taken the keys of Knowledge and hidden them. They themselves have not entered, nor have they allowed to enter those who wish to. You, however, be as wise as serpents and as innocent as doves." Purport: Educated people have learned the scripture of truth but not understood it, yet deprive others from the knowledge. Be careful and wise but innocent also. 40) Jesus said, "A grapevine has been planted outside of the Father, but being unsound, it will be pulled up by its roots and destroyed." Purport: Anything not of God is transitory. So material things are of no final importance. 41) Jesus said, "Whoever has something in his hand will receive more, and whoever has nothing will be deprived of even the little he has." Purport: A little spiritual knowledge leads to more. Those that have nothing can make no progress. The more one is on the path the more one is on the path. Jesus said, "Become passers-by." Purport: This means to become detached from the material and become the ‘Observer’, or a witness for one isn’t the doer anyway. Like two birds on a tree, one watches the other do the work but it is the same tree. You are not the doer, you don’t make anything happen, in fact nothing is happening at all. It is just your attitude that is important. P43) His disciples said to him, "Who are You, that You should say these things to us?" "You do not realize who I am from what I say to you, but you have become like the Jews, for they (either) love the tree and hate its fruit or love the fruit and hate the tree." Purport: This means they aren’t satisfied with him and haven’t made the choice to listen to his teaching completely. The Jews, in this case are no doubt the Sadducee Priests and their political descendents, who had persecuted the early Essenic groups that became known as Messianics or in Greek, Christians. 44) Jesus said, "Whoever blasphemes against the Father will be forgiven, and whoever blasphemes against the Son will be forgiven, but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven either on earth or in heaven." Purport: One has to be true unto oneself. We are in fact a part of or are the Holy Spirit, or Om, so to offend ourselves is to bring on karma, and the mental results of attacking oneself. For we cannot harm God. 45) Jesus said, "Grapes are not harvested from thorns, nor are figs gathered from thistles, for they do not produce fruit. A good man brings forth good from his storehouse; an evil man brings forth evil things from his evil storehouse, which is in his heart, and says evil things. For out of the abundance of the heart he brings forth evil things." Purport: Whatever our thoughts and desires are so are we. We have over many incarnations built up many attributes and tendencies, and these go toward making up our personality. So we can only be what they are. The mind becomes what it thinks about and desires. So good produces good tendencies and bad behaviour produces bad ones. 46) Jesus said, "Among those born of women, from Adam until John the Baptist, there is no one so superior to John the Baptist that his eyes should not be lowered (before him). Yet I have said whichever one of you comes to be a child will be acquainted with the Kingdom and will become superior to John." Purport: This means John is a great prophet but is not completely Liberated as yet. In other words he hasn’t cleared the tendencies or samskaras from his mind. Such as doubt and certain attachments mental or physical. So no matter how holy John is he isn’t a Realised Being or Liberated. 47) Jesus said, "It is impossible for a man to mount two horses or to stretch two bows. And it is impossible for a servant to serve two masters; otherwise he will honor the one and treat the other contemptuously. No man drinks old wine and immediately desires to drink new wine. And new wine is not put into old wineskins, lest they burst; nor is old wine put into a new wineskin, lest it spoil it. An old patch is not sewn onto a new garment, because a tear would result." Purport: Develop concentration and single mindedness of purpose to become liberated. We cannot serve two masters, we must serve God or Mammon, we cannot do both. 48) Jesus said, "If two make peace with each other in this one house, they will say to the mountain, 'Move Away,' and it will move away." Purport: If the lower self and the Higher Self are united, it is Liberation. If one is Liberated all power accrues to he that overcomes. It is said that a Liberated person can only speak and command the truth, so whatever they say—it happens. 49) Jesus said, "Blessed are the solitary and elect, for you will find the Kingdom. For you are from it, and to it you will return." Purport: Don’t go along with the crowd, think for yourself, work out your own salvation. For one has to understand that one has not to really realise something, but to know that one is ‘God’, and there has been a forgetting. Each individual has to destroy their own ego, nobody else can. 50) Jesus said, "If they say to you, 'Where did you come from?', say to them, 'We came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord and established [itself] and became manifest through their image.' If they say to you, 'Is it you?', say, 'We are its children, we are the elect of the Living Father.' If they ask you, 'What is the sign of your father in you?', say to them, 'It is movement and repose.'" Purport: It is movement and rest, movement of the body and repose of the spirit. For we are as sparks of the fire in relation to the fire of the Father. Also alpha and omega. 51) His disciples said to Him, "When will the repose of the dead come about, and when will the new world come?" He said to them, "What you look forward to has already come, but you do not recognize it." Purport: We are already liberated but don’t know it for our thinking and minds get in the way. We are already that which we search for----the Inner ‘I Am’, as opposed to the small I/ego. 52) His disciples said to Him, "Twenty-four prophets spoke in Israel, and all of them spoke in You." He said to them, "You have omitted the one living in your presence and have spoken (only) of the dead." Purport: Jesus is also the prophet, a living prophet, take notice of his living message. 53) His disciples said to Him, "Is circumcision beneficial or not?" He said to them, "If it were beneficial, their father would beget them already circumcised from their mother. Rather, the true circumcision in spirit has become completely profitable." Purport: Any material thing isn’t spiritual, so circumcision is just a cultural ritual and not really important spiritually. Cutting one’s desires and need for material things it the true circumcision. 54) Jesus said, "Blessed are the poor, for yours is the Kingdom of Heaven." Purport: Blessed are those that don’t have much need for material goods and attachments. Poor; meaning humble in character, for they will achieve Liberation. Also the richest person in the world is the one who desires the least. 55) Jesus said, "Whoever does not hate his father and his mother cannot become a disciple to Me. And whoever does not hate his brothers and sisters and take up his cross in My way will not be worthy of Me." Purport: This means to give all attachments on the planet, including relatives. Also to take up the cross or destruction of the small ego and follow the Inner Teachings of the Greater Self or ‘God’. 56) Jesus said, "Whoever has come to understand the world has found (only) a corpse, and whoever has found a corpse is superior to the world." Purport: This again is about attachments and that the body is just a corpse and so is the world without spirit. Whoever understands this rises above the desires of the world. 57) Jesus said, "The Kingdom of the Father is like a man who had [good] seed. His enemy came by night and sowed weeds among the good seed. The man did not allow them to pull up the weeds; he said to them, 'I am afraid that you will go intending to pull up the weeds and pull up the wheat along with them.' For on the day of the harvest the weeds will be plainly visible, and they will be pulled up and burned." Purport: One has to live in the world but not be of the world. At the time appointed those who are not of the world will be Liberated. 58) Jesus said, "Blessed is the man who has suffered and found life." Purport: Suffering is extant and constant in the world, even a pleasure carries with it the thought of it ending. So those that suffer are not so attached to the pleasures of the world and so it is easier to achieve spirituality and Liberation. Suffering is also the turmoil one goes through when on the spiritual path, especially at first. 59) Jesus said, "Take heed of the Living One while you are alive, lest you die and seek to see Him and be unable to do so." Purport: Take heed of the living Jesus for on death you may not know where you are and where you are going. Also some people don’t even know that they have died, and get distracted. One cannot achieve Liberation after death so easily. Use this opportunity of this life and don’t waste it. 60) a Samaritan carrying a lamb on his way to Judea. He said to his disciples, "(Why does) that man (carry) the lamb around?" They said to him, "So that he may kill it and eat it." He said to them, "While it is alive, he will not eat it, but only when he has killed it and it has become a corpse." They said to him, "He cannot do so otherwise." He said to them, "You too, look for a place for yourself within the Repose, lest you become a corpse and be eaten." Purport: Again this is about body consciousness, and the body just ending up a corpse. One has to strive for Liberation. Also not be eaten up by our attachments and desires. 61) Jesus said, "Two will rest on a bed: the one will die, and other will live." Salome said to him, "Who are You, man, that You, as though from the One, have come up on my couch and eaten from my table?" Jesus said to her, "I am He who exists from the Undivided. I was given some of the things of my Father." "I am Your disciple." "Therefore I say, if he is , he will be filled with light, but if he is divided, he will be filled with darkness." Purport: This is Jesus talking as the Universal as opposed to a man. If one realizes that all is one then one is undivided and Liberated. Jesus is also referring to the fact that even he isn’t completely united with the Father, there is some karma yet to take on. He refers to being given ‘some’ things of the Father not all at this stage. 62) Jesus said, "It is to those [who are worthy of My] mysteries that I tell My mysteries. Do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing." 63) Jesus said, "There was a rich man who had much money. He said, 'I shall put my money to use so that I may sow, reap, plant, and fill my storehouse with produce, with the result that I shall lack nothing. Such were his intentions, but that same night he died. Let him who has ears hear." Purport: The time for working on Liberation is now. There is no point in putting it off in order to gain materially in the world. For one may die and have wasted an opportunity. Do not be tempted by your own desires. 64) Jesus said, "A man had received visitors. And when he had prepared the dinner, he sent his servant to invite guests. He went to the first one and said to him, "My master invites you.' He said, 'I have claims against some merchants. They are coming to me this evening. I must go and give them my orders. I ask to be excused from the dinner.' He went to another and said, 'My master has invited you.' He said to him, 'I have just bought a house and am required for the day. I shall not have any spare time.' He went to another and said to him, 'My master invites you.' He said to him, 'My friend is going to get married, and I am to prepare the banquet. I shall not be able to come. I ask to be excused from the dinner.' He went to another and said to him, 'My master invites you.' He said to him, 'I have just bought a farm, and I am on my way to collect the rent. I shall not be able to come. I ask to be excused.' The servant returned and said to his master, 'Those whom you invited to the dinner have asked to be excused.' The master said to his servant, 'Go outside to the streets and bring back those whom you happen to meet, so that they may dine.' Businessmen and merchants will not enter the Places of My Father." Purport: This line again is saying not to be attached to the world and material goods and relatives. People attached to money and business will have difficulty in spirituality and gaining Liberation. Also don’t waste the opportunity of this life, for God is always inviting us into the Kingdom of Liberation but we don’t answer. 65) He said, "There was a good man who owned a vineyard. He leased it to tenant farmers so that they might work it and he might collect the produce from them. He sent his servant so that the tenants might give him the produce of the vineyard. They seized his servant and beat him, all but killing him. The servant went back and told his master. The master said, 'Perhaps did not recognize .' He sent another servant. The tenants beat this one as well. Then the owner sent his son and said, 'Perhaps they will show respect to my son.' Because the tenants knew that it was he who was the heir to the vineyard, they seized him and killed him. Let him who has ears hear." Purport: People don’t want to hear the spiritual truth, they will kill the messenger. They are only interested in their material attachments. 66) Jesus said, "Show me the stone which the builders have rejected. That one is the cornerstone." Purport: This means the prophet is the one who is rejected by most, for he teaches the non material way. 67) Jesus said, "Whoever believes that the All itself is deficient is (himself) completely deficient." Purport: All is a manifestation of ‘God’, so at some level all is perfect. 68) Jesus said, "Blessed are you when you are hated and persecuted. Wherever you have been persecuted they will find no Place." Purport: Blessed are they on the spiritual path for they will not be liked by many. Also the persecution is the inner striving for truth. 69) Jesus said, "Blessed are they who have been persecuted within themselves. It is they who have truly come to know the Father. Blessed are the hungry, for the belly of him who desires will be filled." Purport: This expands on the previous saying, especially the inner turmoil and seeking. However those who succeed attain to Liberation. They achieve the whole spiritual fullness. 70) Jesus said, "If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you." Purport: One must bring forth the spiritual for if one doesn’t then one will not become realized. In other words bring forth the spiritual not the material desires. 71) Jesus said, "I shall destroy [this] house, and no one will be able to rebuild it." Purport: Destroying the body and particularly the body consciousness. 72) [A man said] to Him, "Tell my brothers to divide my father's possessions with me." He said to him, "O man, who has made Me a divider?" He turned to His disciples and said to them, "I am not a divider, am I?" Purport: Here the emphasis is on all being one and not individuals---non duality in fact. 73) Jesus said, "The harvest is great but the laborers are few. Beseech the Lord, therefore, to send out laborers to the harvest." Purport: The achievement of Liberation is great but so few want it, go forth and teach this. 74) He said, "O Lord, there are many around the drinking trough, but there is nothing in the cistern." Purport: There are many seeking but what they seek is spiritual and not something tangible. 75) Jesus said, "Many are standing at the door, but it is the solitary who will enter the bridal chamber." Purport: Give up the world and your possessions, and attachments, if you wish for Liberation. The bridal chamber is Liberation where the individual is united in the Universal. 76) Jesus said, "The kingdom of the Father is like a merchant who had a consignment of merchandise and who discovered a pearl. That merchant was shrewd. He sold the merchandise and bought the pearl alone for himself. You too, seek his unfailing and enduring treasure where no moth comes near to devour and no worm destroys." Purport: Seek out the truth amongst the false, for buried in all is the pearl of truth or Liberation. 77) Jesus said, "It is I who am the light which is above them all. It is I who am the All. From Me did the All come forth, and unto Me did the All extend. Split a piece of wood, and I am there. Lift up the stone, and you will find Me there." Purport: This is Jesus talking as the Universal again. 78) Jesus said, "Why have you come out into the desert? To see a reed shaken by the wind? And to see a man clothed in fine garments like your kings and your great men? Upon them are the fine [garments], and they are unable to discern the truth." Purport: Wealth and worldly success doesn’t bestow any enlightenment. 79) A woman from the crowd said to Him, "Blessed are the womb which bore You and the breasts which nourished You." He said to her, "Blessed are those who have heard the word of the Father and have truly kept it. For there will be days when you will say, 'Blessed are the womb which has not conceived and the breasts which have not given milk.'" Purport: This is about rising above the human state. 80) Jesus said, "He who has recognized the world has found the body, but he who has found the body is superior to the world." Purport: One who has recognized the true state of things spiritually, has understood what the body is. He who understands that can transcend it. 81) Jesus said, "Let him who has grown rich be king, and let him who possesses power renounce it." Purport: Give up attachment to things of the world, renounce attachment to the material to achieve spirituality. 82) Jesus said, "He who is near Me is near the fire, and he who is far from Me is far from the Kingdom." Purport: The fire is God and the Kingdom of Heaven or Liberation. Jesus is talking as the Universal again. Also like a piece of iron gets hot for being near the fire, so a person gets hot by being near a Sage or Realised One. 83) Jesus said, "The images are manifest to man, but the light in them remains concealed in the image of the light of the Father. He will become manifest, but his image will remain concealed by his light." Purport: The inner spirit is in everything and is everything. The individual is obvious but the universal is not apparent. 84) Jesus said, "When you see your likeness, you rejoice. But when you see your images which came into being before you, and which neither die not become manifest, how much you will have to bear!" Purport: This is referring to reincarnation and previous lives and the karma from those. Plus all the images and beings on the other planes or heavens. 85) Jesus said, "Adam came into being from a great power and a great wealth, but he did not become worthy of you. For had he been worthy, [he would] not [have experienced] death." Purport: Adam took birth to help correct the diversion into materiality and restore the spiritual path. Unfortunately he himself became entangled in desire and therefore faltered or fell, and had to experience physical death. 86) Jesus said, "[The foxes have their holes] and the birds have [their] nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head and rest." Purport: This indicates there is no need for any materiality or attachments for the Son of Man. It also indicates total surrender to the Lord, or God and putting our burden on him who really does the work. 87) Jesus said, "Wretched is the body that is dependant upon a body, and wretched is the soul that is dependent on these two." Purport: This again is about the entity or soul becoming dependent on the body and materiality. It also seems to indicate attachment to other bodies or people is an impediment as well. 88) Jesus said, "The angels and the prophets will come to you and give you those things you (already) have. And you too, give them those things which you have, and say to yourselves, 'When will they come and take what is theirs?'" Purport: These are beings that live on higher planes or heavens and therefore are not liberated themselves, but the fear of attachment and loss is there. As it is for all unrealized people. 89) Jesus said, "Why do you wash the outside of the cup? Do you not realize that he who made he inside is the same one who made the outside?" Purport: All is One, all is one manifestation of ‘God’. Washing the outside is just taking care of appearances, and not referring to the inner reality. 90) Jesus said, "Come unto me, for My yoke is easy and My lordship is mild, and you will find repose for yourselves." Purport: When you give all attachments and desires you are the richest man in the world and have no heavy load. Like riding on a train, and putting your cases down. The train will carry them for you. 91) They said to Him, "Tell us who You are so that we may believe in You." He said to them, "You read the face of the sky and of the earth, but you have not recognized the one who is before you, and you do not know how to read this moment." Purport: They don’t recognize who Jesus really is and what he has come to teach. 92) Jesus said, "Seek and you will find. Yet, what you asked Me about in former times and which I did not tell you then, now I do desire to tell, but you do not enquire after it." Purport: They have lost the desire to progress on the spiritual path. 93) "Do not give what is holy to dogs, lest they throw them on the dung-heap. Do not throw the pearls to swine, lest they grind it [to bits]." Purport: There is no point in giving the teachings to people of low awareness and purification. They will not understand them and may become angry. Most teachers teach at different levels of awareness. So public teaching may be somewhat different from the more private teaching to disciples. 94) Jesus [said], "He who seeks will find, and [he who knocks] will be let in." Purport: If you seek inwards you will find. For inner meditation reveal the truth within. The truth of the ‘I Am’, as opposed the little ego. We are ever ready to realise and remember, whence we came. We have just to give up the idea that we are an individual person. 95) [Jesus said,] "If you have money, do not lend it at interest, but give [it] to one from whom you will not get it back." Purport: This is an old injunction against usury and it is also a message to give up that to which we are attached. 96) Jesus [said], "The Kingdom of the Father is like a certain woman. She took a little leaven, [concealed] it in some dough, and made it into large loaves. Let him who has ears hear." Purport: Within creation there is only ‘God’ taking all these forms in a kind of projected dream. 97) Jesus said, "The Kingdom of the [Father] is like a certain woman who was carrying a jar full of meal. While she was walking [on] a road, still some distance from home, the handle of the jar broke and the meal emptied out behind her on the road. She did not realize it; she had noticed no accident. When she reached her house, she set the jar down and found it empty." Purport: Life drains away every minute, but also the Kingdom is spread and not noticed. 98) Jesus said, "The Kingdom of the Father is like a certain man who wanted to kill a powerful man. In his own house he drew his sword and stuck it into the wall in order to find out whether his hand could carry through. Then he slew the powerful man." Purport: Spirituality takes practise and concentration. 99) The disciples said to Him, "Your brothers and Your mother are standing outside." He said to them, "Those here who do the will of My Father are My brothers and My mother. It is they who will enter the Kingdom of My Father." Purport: Liberated people know they are one, they have already surrendered to the will of ‘God’. 100) They showed Jesus a gold coin and said to Him, "Caesar's men demand taxes from us." He said to them, "Give Caesar what belongs to Caesar, give God what belongs to God, and give Me what is Mine." Purport: Materialism is for Caesar and the world, devotion is for God, and for oneself it is not God but Liberation. 101) "Whoever does not hate his father and his mother as I do cannot become a disciple to Me. And whoever does [not] love his father and his mother as I do cannot become a [disciple] to Me. For My mother [gave me falsehood], but [My] true [Mother] gave me life." Purport: Love all as All is One, do not become so attached to other people but at the same time respect that one’s mother gave one the body. The falsehood is the unreality of the world, and the only reality ‘God’. 102) Jesus said, "Woe to the Pharisees, for they are like a dog sleeping in the manger of oxen, for neither does he eat nor does he let the oxen eat." Purport: Some intellectuals and religious people do not practise what they should and don’t reveal the knowledge to others. 103) Jesus said, "Fortunate is the man who knows where the brigands will enter, so that he may get up, muster his domain, and arm himself before they invade." Purport: This means fortunate is a person that realizes his own faults and can control the mind. 104) They said [to Jesus], "Come, let us pray today and let us fast." Jesus said, "What is the sin that I have committed, or wherein have I been defeated? But when the bridegroom leaves the bridal chamber, then let them fast and pray." Purport: After Liberation let us celebrate. 105) Jesus said, "He who knows the father and the mother will be called the son of a harlot." Purport: This refers to the attachment one has to give up to one’s parents and the world. 106) Jesus said, "When you make the two one, you will become the sons of man, and when you say, 'Mountain, move away,' it will move away." Purport: The soul entity is sexless so is one. So on liberation in the body one will combine all the male and female energies. Also the word of a Realised One is Truth and whatever they say----it happens. 107) Jesus said, "The Kingdom is like a shepherd who had a hundred sheep. One of them, the largest, went astray. He left the ninety-nine sheep and looked for that one until he found it. When he had gone to such trouble, he said to the sheep, 'I care for you more than the ninety-nine.'" Purport: God loves even those that go astray. However those that are ‘biggest’, on the road of spiritual liberation, are immediately closer. 108) Jesus said, "He who will drink from my mouth will become like Me. I myself shall become he, and the things that are hidden will become revealed to him." Purport: This again is all about accepting the teaching and becoming One, and giving up the ego and false individuality. Listening to the teachings, one becomes the teaching and the teacher and disciple become one or rather were always one. 109) Jesus said, "The Kingdom is like a man who had a [hidden] treasure in his field without knowing it. And [after] he died, he left it to his son. The son did not know (about the treasure). He inherited the field and sold [it]. And the one who bought it went plowing and found the treasure. He began to lend money at interest to whomever he wished." Purport: Whoever seeks will find and get the spiritual riches or Liberation. One has to make the effort and do the action or karma. 110) Jesus said, "Whoever finds the world and becomes rich, let him renounce the world." Purport: Give up all attachment. 111) Jesus said, "The heavens and the earth will be rolled up in your presence. And one who lives from the Living One will not see death." Does not Jesus say, "Whoever finds himself is superior to the world?" Purport: This is a complete reference to Realisation of Liberation. The complete illusion and unreality of heaven and earth will become apparent and only the Transcendent God is left, which we are in fact ourselves. 112) Jesus said, "Woe to the flesh that depends on the soul; woe to the soul that depends on the flesh." Purport: Another reference to depending on illusion and unreality. 113) His disciples said to Him, "When will the Kingdom come?" "It will not come by waiting for it. It will not be a matter of saying 'Here it is' or 'There it is.' Rather, the Kingdom of the Father is spread out upon the earth, and men do not see it." Purport: There is nothing to come or realise in the end. For we are already free and don’t know for our minds have clouded our vision. In other words the illusion of the world, ourselves everything is a projection of God. We are searching for something which is already within us. 114) Simon Peter said to Him, "Let Mary leave us, for women are not worthy of Life." Jesus said, "I myself shall lead her in order to make her male, so that she too may become a living spirit resembling you males. For every woman who will make herself male will enter the Kingdom of Heaven." Purport: The interim step to realization is unity of all, and loss of individuality associated with the body. This also includes the idea of different sexes. Also there is the tradition that there is only one male in the universe and that is ‘God’. The Creation or projection is female, it is ‘The Sakti’. So by woman becoming Realised she becomes ‘Male’, or ‘God’. Matt.5. Excerpts from this Gospel with purports. [1] And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
[2] And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
[3] Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Purport: This means be humble and not egotistic so one can receive the teaching and become Liberated. For if one is rich in spirit and has a proud ego, one cannot learn.
[4] Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Purport: This has different meanings. Mourning can mean sensitivity but in this case the loss is the separation from ‘God’, or The Self. It is the feeling of separation from God that encompasses all the emotions like fear and insecurity, grief and similar feelings. It is the desire to be reunited with God and achieve Liberation.
[5] Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Purport: This again is referring to humbleness and being ego-less and accepting the teaching and surrendering to ‘God’. Also the richest man on the planet is the one who has the least desires. [6] Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Purport: This is the desire for Liberation or Union with ‘God’. There is an old Indian parable, where a man says he wants to see God. He is held under water until he gasps for breath and told that is the desire you should have to realise God or Liberation;- the desire to breath.
[7] Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Purport: This is about showing love to all, Metta the Buddhist call it. Where one actually practices the feeling of love for all beings, whether animal, vegetable or mineral, and wishes them no harm.
[8] Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Purport: This is about purifying the mind completely for then one will be united with ‘God’. In Yoga it is called a purified ‘Awareness Sheath’, or Vijnamamayakosa. This is not just the lower mentality but actually purifying all ones attributes and tendencies until there are no thoughts left even. For the mind is just a bundle of thoughts and when it is dropped--------All is One or ‘God’.
[9] Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Purport: This is about non-violence or Ahimsa, for to become aware spiritually one has to be non violent first. Non-Violence is necessary to install compassion, for without compassion one cannot purify the mind and realise ‘God’. So one has to be peaceful within oneself, for if one is totally peaceful one is Liberated.
[10] Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Purport: Persecution has two meanings; being actually persecuted and also an inner persecution of turmoil on the spiritual path. Many call it the ‘Dark night of the Soul’, and one is persecuted by one’s own thoughts and desires, going through a mental purifying, turmoil to adjust ones thinking to the path of God and Liberation.
[11] Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Purport: This is like turning the other cheek and not responding to attack, so growing in Ahimsa or non-violence. However it is also being reviled for being on the spiritual path at all. Materialist do not like people who take the spiritual path, they think they are dull and boring and ridicule and persecute them.
[12] Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Purport: As the prophets also became illumined and Liberated, so shall you. Heaven has two meanings ; the literal and also Liberation or Kingdom of Heaven.
[13] Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Purport: Do not lose your spirituality for then what you have left is worth nothing.
[14] Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Purport: You are in fact the Light that you are seeking, shine your love on all.
[15] Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Purport: Your own Liberation will shine on to others in the form of Love for All. This is Metta and seeing all as one and giving love to all beings and things.
[16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Purport: By your example others may learn. Act out of Love, and demonstrate what spirituality is all about. Others then will see what you are teaching in actual action.
[17] Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Purport: Jesus is saying that he has come to fulfill all the prophecies, and finish off his work in the world by paying karma, and taking karma. He does this to repay the karma incurred by the first Adam. So Jesus or Yeshua is the second Adam and fulfills the la, and promise. He also comes to finally be totally Liberated and not just a dweller in the Heavens..
[18] For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Purport: This is referring to the Law of Karma, or cause and effect to some extent. Every deed both good and bad must receive its reward and there is no way to escape karma. Jesus is also saying that he comes to fulfil the law, which indicates filling his own karma as the second Adam. Jesus was the first Adam and he fell, so there is a final karma to be worked out. He does this on the cross and no longer returns to Heaven but is Liberated and merged with ‘God’.
[19] Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
[20] For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Purport: Do not be a hypocrite, practice what you preach. One has to rise above the ordinary scriptures and righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees and become Liberated. Show a good example to all, and pass on the Truth.
[21] Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
[22] But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
[23] Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
[24] Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. Purport: This is about not harbouring resentments and only having love and forgiveness. This prevents the creation of binding karma and so frees the mind. It is all about non violence and compassion for all. For with compassion comes awareness and with that the opportunity for Liberation or the Kingdom of Heaven. Thou shalt not kill means exactly that, and the word in Hebrew is ‘ lo Tirtzah’ which means not kill anything. Also thought is a thing, so thinking something also attracts its corresponding karma.
[25] Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
[26] Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
[27] Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
[28] But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
[29] And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
[30] And if thy right hand offend thee, cut if off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
[31] It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:
[32] But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
[33] Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
[34] But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:
[35] Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
[36] Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. Purport: Here we are dealing with the mind and action being the same thing. We have to watch the senses that they don’t lead us into ways that are inimicable to spiritual progress. There is also an injunction not to swear oaths, which is a very Essenic injunction.
[37] But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil. Purport: Just give a yes or a no instead of swearing oaths. .
[38] Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
[39] But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. Purport: This again is Ahimsa or non violence. Turn the other cheek means don’t return evil with evil for there will be karma to serve and so it will go back and forth. It also translate the Old Testament saying an eye for an eye into karmic terms. Not literally taking an eye for and eye in this life.
[40] And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. Purport: This is a lesson in non attachment. If someone takes one’s coat then don’t grieve over the loss, just give away your cloak as well. Rise above attachments to material things. For this is to offset the danger of being attached to the loss of the coat, give away more so it is nullified.
[41] And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. Purport: If you are forced to do something then don’t resist against it but go the extra mile so attachment doesn’t form. This also prevent the indignant ego rising up and becoming an impediment to spiritual progress.
[42] Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away. Purport: Give help and alms to all that you can afford to diminish attachment and encourage love for all.
[43] Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
[44] But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Purport: This is in the vein of Metta or love for all sentient beings. Do not harbour resentments and revenge as these negative emotions will only bring bad karma in the future. Try and remember that All is One, I AM THAT I AM.
[45] That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. Purport: All is one and the grace of God is like a Divine Wind, one only has to put up a sail to receive it. It is available to all constantly. Also ultimately the idea of good and evil is relative and another illusion.
[46] For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
[47] And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Purport: Love All, for All is One! Do not harbour resentments against people and have no enemies for it only injures oneself and brings the appropriate karma. Don’t restrict your love to only those that love you, but love your enemies as well as part of yourself.

[48] Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Purport: This means that one has to purify one’s mind, inner and outer. Purifying one’s diet, thoughts and behaviour until all thought is risen above. The difference between man and God is only the mind. The mind is a bundle of thoughts only but it leaves a residue of attributes and tendencies. These all have to be risen above, good and bad, for only when the mind is purified will we be able to see ‘God’, or become One with Him in His Kingdom of Heaven. In other words Nirvana, Moksha, Liberation, Realisation, the drop falling into the ocean. For even one thought will separate us from God and bring us back into reincarnation again. So the Ego is the first thought and has to be destroyed. God plus thought equals man; and man minus thought is God. Matt.6 [1] Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
[2] Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
[3] But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
[4] That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
[5] And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
[6] But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
[7] But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
[8] Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
[9] After this manner therefore pray ye: Purport: These lines really refer to boasting, doing things in public so everyone can see what one is doing. Do not sing or pray empty repetitious exhortations, pray quietly and meditate. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil Amen….. I don’t believe ‘Eve’, had much to do with it, for Adam had a wife Lilith prior to Eve, who was of the previous beings. : For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
[14] For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
[15] But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Purport: These two are referring to karma, for by forgiving, one doesn’t incur any negative karma, but if you don’t forgive you incur the same karma and it stays in the subconscious as a resentful impediment.
[16] Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. Purport: By wearing one’s good deeds or religion on ones sleeve, one gets ego satisfaction and that is the karmic reward in itself already.
[17] But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; [18] That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
[19] Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: Purport: For these saying it is about preparing oneself spiritually and not advertising the fact. It is about not letting the ego reign, for your own inner self knows what is happening and this will bring progress.
[20] But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
[21] For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Purport: The spiritual karma and gains one makes are far more important than material things, and last forever.
[22] The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
[23] But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! Purport: Single mindedness of purpose is indicated here, plus there is the Kundalini/Holy Ghost aspect as well. The single eye is the ajna cakra or third eye of spirituality, represented in the forehead between the eyes. So we are talking of the rise of spirituality here, and if the upper cakras are not developed then spirituality is stunted and dark and confined to the lower animal and sensual cakras. Cakras are psycho spiritual centers in the body rising up the spine area.
[24] No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Purport: One cannot be on the spiritual path and at the same time have a great desire for material or illusory goods and pleasures.
[25] Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
[26] Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
[27] Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
[28] And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
[29] And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
[30] Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
[31] Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
[32] (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
[33] But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
[34] Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Purport: These lines are about surrendering to the Lord the fruits of one’s labour and admitting that one is no the doer. This is called no karma karma or nishkarma karm in the East. So throw oneself on the providence of the Lord and continue completing action. For one will find that when one seeks first spirituality, the rest follows. God takes care of his animals and plants, so why wouldn’t He take care of you? Matt.7 [1] Judge not, that ye be not judged.
[2] For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Purport: Do not violate the law of karma, for judgment will come back on to oneself. An equal and opposite action and reaction--------an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth, but vengeance is mine sayeth The Lord.
[3] And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
[4] Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
[5] Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. Purport: Perfect oneself before trying to teach and lecture others. Do not look for the faults in others, as the faults that most annoy us are the reflection of our own faults.
[6] Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. Purport: Do not give advanced non dualistic teaching to those of a lower awareness, for they will not understand them properly and so may misuse them. Some may even become angry as the Priests and others did with Jesus from time to time.
[7] Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
[8] For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
[9] Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
[10] Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? Purport: Ask and it shall be given, is again surrendering to God. Also of one goes within and seeks the truth and spirituality one will find it, as it is our inner being.
[11] If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Purport: If one moves on to the spiritual path, God will give more and more knowledge and progress.
[12] Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Purport: This is the Golden Rule of all the religions in the world. It also incorporates the law of karma, for whatever one does so does one receive. We only meet ourselves on this journey of life.
[13] Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
[14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Purport: Here again we are talking about Kundalini and the Cakras. There psychic spine has three channels and the middle one is the ‘Strait Gate’, when consciousness enters into this sushumna and rises through the centers of cakras one becomes more spiritual. In fact a risen Kundalini is the manifestation of the Holy Ghost as at Pentecost. The consciousness rises up the Strait Gate and then into ‘The Spiritual Heart’, which is extant as the Kingdom.
[15] Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
[16] Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
[17] Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
[18] A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
[19] Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
[20] Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Purport: Watch out for the spiritual frauds, doing miracles and promising salvation, and then amassing wealth or sexual proclivities. Any Saint that is materialistic and sensual is not a Saint at all and many are molestors. So look to what they do not what they preach or say.
[21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Purport: One has to surrender completely to the will of God. This in fact means giving up the ego and merging with the Universal, or Liberation from the illusion that we are separate.
[22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
[23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Purport: Many will be false prophets and egotists that will do the work for their own self agrandisment. That is their reward and all they have done is strengthen the ego separating them from knowing God.
[24] Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
[25] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. Purport: Whosover hears these saying and acts on them will gain spiritually. Those that gain so and rise above the ego cannot be touched by anything here in materiality.
[26] And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
[27] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. Purport: If one ignores the teachings and the truth and practices one’s one egotistic desires, then spiritually one will fail. With the first adversity one will be shattered, for one’s ego is tide up with the happenings on the planet.
[28] And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
[29] For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. Purport: The people were astonished for Jesus was not talking out of a book, or do as I say not as I do, so to speak. He spoke with the authority and truth of a Realised Being. He taught them directly heart to heart from Go NATIVITY, and ONWARDS. The story of Jesus is much covered in the Gospels. However what isn’t covered is his association with a group called the Essenes. This seems to drive from a word meaning ‘Expected’, so inferring that they were a group of Messianic Mystics. According to sources, including the Edgar Cayce readings, even the stable he was born in was owned by members of the Essenes, and the story of ‘no room at the Inn’ wasn’t a bad one. His mother and all the family were also members of the Essenes based at Mt Karmel. Elizabeth’s husband Zacariah was a Priest at the Temple and when he celebrated the birth he was murdered on the steps of the altar; the really first martyr. The Sadducees controlled the Temple and another group The Pharisees had some presence but didn’t run the institution. The Sadducees only believed in the first five books of the Bible and anyone claiming to be a prophet was executed. So talking of prophets at this time was unpopular with the ruling elite. Jesus was instructed from an early age in the main philosophies and religions of the world by the Essenes and their teachers. Much is covered in the Gospels, including the stay in Egypt to escape Herod’s ‘Slaughter of the Innocents’. It seems that the group was associated with similar groups in Alexandria and other places in Egypt. The Buddhists had an installation in Alexandria at the time, so there was contact with Indian thought very early on, no doubt. On returning to Palestine, Jesus soon went with a caravan to the East, he was thirteen years old at the time, and this would be the first of many journeys. It seems he visited Persia, Central Asia, Tibet, India and other areas. He studied with the Jains then the Hindus at Jagganath and Kasi. Eventually it seems he made his way to Kashmir and stayed with Buddhists in the Tibetan speaking area. How many visits he made to India is unknown but he was there several years, in total. So Jesus was exposed to various strands of Indian or Vedantic philosophy, as well as Jainism and Buddhism. He no doubt contributed his own views to members of these religions. Because of the Silk Route, Alexander, and Asoka, there was a well beaten path between India and the Middle East, so it would be quite usual for Jesus to visit various countries on his journeys. The fact that there are records of his visit in Hemis and also in Jagganath is interesting, and evidentiary. THE LAST SUPPER: Onwards. Ascension Jesus:
It was his projected manifested body that was in the upper room and
that disappeared on his ascension. His actual body was perhaps on the way or
in India. People can project their subtle bodies but Jesus could
solidify his from the atoms in the air etc. According to Cayce.
This fits in with the abilities of Yogis in India who do this kind
of thing to this very day. Jesus after the 'Death', on the cross was
not an individual anymore but the universal. The body itself had
karma to complete so lived on, like a wheel whose engine has been
turned off but still spins for a while.

Death itself is a strange subject, what is it? It is the separation
from our desires. We leave the body every night in deep sleep, but
return in the morning, that is a temporary death. Yogis in India can
bury themselves alive for a week and still live. Jesus was an
accomplished Raja Yogi, and his resurrection and miracles are no
surprise in India. There are credible stories of yogis entering and
reviving young bodies on funeral pyres, to save them time in being
reborn. Jesus had come into the world to complete his own work or karma in other words. The spiritual realms
are just less obvious materialisation that's all, there is only one
spirit in the universe. He became the Christ but the body had still
prarabda karma to fulfill. I tend to think that Jesus went back to India and lived out the rest of his days there,
however it is possible that he did dematerialise himself completely
at the ascension and that was that. In India they have a word for it
which translated means disappeared and refers to their Jesus-like
past masters. So that is a theory also.
I believe that Jesus was something similar to a bhodisattva or a
being that doesn't need to take birth but does to help. In India
they call this type of Master a Karana Janma. Jesus had to fulfill
his 'fall', according to cayce, so this fits.
There is a belief in India that one can go to the highest level of
consciousness or heaven and await the mahapralaya or subsuming of
the material and subtle universes into 'God', then get release at
that time. This is where the Jesus's and Bodhisattvas take rebirth
from, retaining just one thought to help. If they gave up all
thought they would return to 'God', like a raindrop in the ocean and
therefore not existing to take birth again.......... AVATARS. What is an Avatar? The name in Sanksrit meansï to cross down, so that could mean all Jivas, or individual entities. However it usually refers to a Karana Janma or a person who takes birth, even though they karmically don't need to. The Universal Consciousness or 'GoD'doesn take birth actually per se, but is ever the witness of this play of Maya. So many entities rise up to eventually become vehicles, as the Avatars of Visnu. It appears that this concept operates at different levels from Amsa-Avatars or partial avatars, to Avatars and finally to PurnaAvatar or Fully Divine Avatarsï like Krishna. Like the Buddhist concept of a Bhodisattava, a Jiva puts off Liberation or Moksha and wills another life, to come back and help humanity. This willing is of course is a thought hence an Ego-Mind is preserved, otherwise there would be no rebirth or anything to take rebirth. However there is nothing to prevent such an advanced being from taking Moksha and surrendering the ego anytime in the Avatara, from birth onwards. At his time the Avatar would become a PurnaAvatar or JivanMukta, a surrendered ego and fully merged in the Universal Consciousness. So it follows that a PurnaAvatar at birth took Moksha at that time. Becoming a Jivanmukta with a Prarabda Karma to perform during the lifetime. The signs of a Mukta are usually, being an embodiment of Love, and having no desires/attachments, as this requires a Jiva Ego-Mind. Other than that it takes a Mukta to recognise another one. A Jiva who follows the Bhakti path, and doesn't desire to lose its identity, would rise to a level of consciousness just short of Moksha called the Brahmaloka. At MahaPralaya or Great Dissolution of the Universe this Jiva would merge into Moksha.'Being' is mind and mind is unreal. Anything that can be positively described is mind, and part of Saguna concept. That is why I use Nir Guna a lot for it doesn't decribe it negates/neti neti. Negates all the hare's horns, and anything else that the mind produces. Advaita isn't about all being one in illusion, that is just a step. A-Dvaita is that there is no way of describing any duality therefore no Saguna concept,or Devas, Avatar or whatever ultimately. Even when the sages talk of sat-cit- ananda they are not talking of Nir Guna for the description is positive a quality as Ramana would say. Before this creation, and as we know pralayas and mahapralayas make many endless creations, there was Saguna Brahaman with all subsumed into itself in potentiality but there was still 'mind' there to enable the new creation. Nir Guna can only be beyond all this indicating it never happened at all. Creation hymn form Rig-Veda. Translation by V. V. Raman, University of Rochester Not even nothing existed then No air yet, nor a heaven. Who encased and kept it where? Was water in the darkness there? Neither deathlessness nor decay No, nor the rhythm of night and day: The self-existent, with breath sans air: That, and that alone was there. Darkness was in darkness found Like light-less water all around. One emerged, with nothing on It was from heat that this was born. Into it, Desire, its way did find: The primordial seed born of mind. Sages know deep in the heart: What exists is kin to what does not. Across the void the cord was thrown, The place of every thing was known. Seed-sowers and powers now came by, Impulse below and force on high. Who really knows, and who can swear, How creation came, when or where! Even gods came after creation's day, Who really knows, who can truly say When and how did creation start? Did He do it? Or did He not? Only He, up there, knows, maybe; Or perhaps, not even He. I interpret the last couple of lines, as relevant to my point that when the Sages talked of Sat-Cit-Ananda before creation, they were in fact talking of Saguna Brahman concept, in potentiality like prakriti. Therefore Saguna 'knows' and Nir guna concept doesn't 'know'. As I previously stated there is no beginning to Saguna, but there is an end for it never happened. I don't have the references here but I do remember quotes from Sages saying that it all disappears of dropping the body and realisation/Moksha........ .. All this is within the projection of Maya, of course. For nothing ever took birth or is reincarnated--------Who am ? PART FOUR: ARTICLES AND TALKS. Psychic Attacks. On one particular occasion I was working as a portrait photographer in the Queensland Bush. I had taken a team of canvassers and myself to Mt. Isa, en route Darwin. The Isa is a large mining town in a semi-arid region of Queensland. I quite liked it there for there was a large Irish Club that I was a member of and business was good in the town. Amongst my crew was a New Zealander, a Pake Ha, or white man. He was really hitching a ride to Darwin, in order to go on "the dole". He told the others that he was a witch, and I didn't take much notice at the time. I poo-pooed this and of course put myself in his bad books. I was to regret my cynicism and dis-belief for he was pretty strange anyway and didn't seem to approve of our business either. One particular morning I noticed that my door was ajar and I had a hazy recollection of two people in my room. It was the witch and another fellow a young Scottish Immigrant, his friend.I thought it a strange dream and I dismissed it. Later in the day a few of my canvassers quit, including one with a car. So I had to go and rent a car. Whilst I was parking, the young friend of our witch asked me how my legs were. I told him that they were fine but then I noticed that they were getting weak below the knees. I thought I must have a vitamin defficiency so I bought some mult-vitamins and had a meal. As it happened I notice an old Aborigine woman, whose photos I had taken, staring at me from over the road. She could see something I could not and I would never find out what she saw, for years. I took many Aboriginal Portraits and many were on credit. The Aboringines always paid me, the whites, on credit, on the other hand invariably did not. This was the opposite of what I was told to expect. Anyway my legs were not getting better and I needed the car to get around. The weakness was now up to my knees, a very strange feeling indeed. I decided to go into town to the Irish Club and have a beer and a chat. As I started out I felt a bolt of energy go through me and found myself saying " l Iove God,I love God," a most unusual thing for me to say .After this my legs began to strengthen but I didn't associate it at the time. I just thought the multi-vitamins were working. I kept the "Divine Experience" though and it started me thinking again about God. I still didn't go to Church though. About a year later I made a return to religious, if not spiritual enquiry and it no doubt started here in Mt.Isa. It was still a Christian oriented path though and I was reading the Bible and listening to prophecies. A few years later when I was into the Huna and Hawaiian Mysticism I noticed something that shocked me. I was reading one of Max Freedom Long's books on the Huna and I came across a chapter describing how the Kahunas cursed people. I then remembered the witch in Mt.Isa. He said that he had been taught by the Maori Tofungas, Kahuna in Maori. I won't describe the method here but I realised that I had been cursed, Anana, and that my life had been in danger. I had been attacked by familiar spirits or thoughtforms, who would have eventually eaten up my energy or mana. The energy bolt that went through me was a Divine Intervention of my Higher Self or Kundalini, and probably saved me from an illness or worse. I haven't had a problem since, although I still have the memory of it. The Buddha said if you don't accept a present from someone it stays with the giver. So put white light around oneself and refuse to accept the present, it will go back to whence it came. That is how to protect oneself from these attacks plus prayer is also a help. One day, many years later, I was talking to Charlie T, in Vancouver, and he narrated a very similar experience to me. It seems that he had been working on the oil-rigs for a Singapore company and was making very good wages. His supervisor was a corrupt ex-cop and demanded bribes for contractual renewals. He was demanding quite a few hundred U.S. dollars and Charlie refused to pay. Charlie went direct to the company instead and this enraged the supervisor. Some time later Charlie became quite ill and lost all energy from his body and ended up on a respirator. How Charlie described it to me, it started in his legs and then worked it's way up his body. After recovering a little, a Malaysian who had yogic siddhis, did a cleansing on him. He told Charlie that he had been cursed by a dark, evil, witchdoctor.. It seemed the energy drained from Charlie's body from the feet upwards and weakened his whole system as it moved up his body. Eventually it progressed to his throat area, causing great pain, as it moved from the lower chakra to his vital organs. This process usually takes three days, I was attacked for only one day. A lady told Charlie that he had been cursed by the supervisor on the rigs, who had gone to an evil yogi in Thailand, and paid him to curse Charlie to a painful lingering death. This was so similar to my story I was sure of what happened to me. It seems "evil mystics" use" thought forms" and captive or familiar spirits to curse you. These entities feed on your energy, prana or mana, starting at your feet and then progressively and aggressively work up your body destroying you. Charlie was given the opportunity to send the curse back to the curser but didn't bother now he was well. Also he was a spiritual person and didn't want to cause harm. In my case I did eventually forgive the Tofunga, or Dark Witch. So one has to be so careful, some of these "left-hand Yogis". That is why one has to be so careful who one is listening to or associating with. One of my own daughters also had a problem with spirit oppression, and she tried spiritual teachers, minor gurus and everything but nothing worked. They even were pulling her hair and terrorising her. Eventually she got fed up and told them that if they didn't stop bothering her she would get help and that they would be stuck on the lower planes forever. Once the fear was gone so were the oppressions. Healing. What is healing?I think it probably is a localisation of consciousness of some kind. Especially were individual healers is concerned. So a healing that does not invoke the Universal Consciousness is inherently defective, and impermanent. For they use their own ego and therefore pass on defective and sometimes bad thoughtforms. To be a natural spiritual healer one has to invoke the Universal Consciousness, without identifying one's individuality. That is not thinking John or Mary the healer, or thinking that one is helping God do some healing, which is only a projection of the ego and therefore not pure. Most healing that is ego based is only temporary and does not heal the underlying cause of the disease. In the end the spiritual state of the so called healer is of supreme importance. Whether it is the laying on of the hands or any other type of healing. However if the healing is from a build up of the healer's energy it is bound to tire out the healer and not be always effective in the long run. The Reiki type of healing is the most preferable form, provided the name of the practitioner is not invoked, or associated with the healing. For then it becomes something else than use of the Universal exclusively. The great gurus say your healing comes from within yourself. So the mind of the practitioner is of supreme importance. There are many "New Age", practitioners that are involved in alternate medicine. Most of these seem to be Ego based healers and many bring disrepute to the names of their vocations. Reiki for example needs no name other than the Universal, nor the attraction and use of spirits. All healing is the Universal Shakti, it is only diluted by those that have veils over their consciousness. These healers believe that they are the healer and misuse and divert some energy, for their own use and it's full of contaminated thought forms. If one is not an unamed channel, it is dangerous and temporary, and possibly involving "unclean entities". It is very difficult to imagine the Universal; so initiation phrases are used. The only names that should be used are the,"Names of God". Each spiritual group has its own Name for The Universal Consciousness. One must not think that one is the doer, just think that one is the instrument. Swami says that almost all sickness comes from having an unhealthy mind. Bad thoughts cause indigestion and affect the heart and cause blood pressure. Also diabetes and pulmonary diseases are caused by worrying and mental causes. So the answer is to seek Bliss and fill your mind with Love. This also applies to after death states, for Heaven and Hell are temporary states of mind. Once the time is up, and the thought energies are exhausted, re-birth on the Earth plane occurs. Séance and medium.NICOLE AND I TALK TO EILISH 10th February 1996. Nicole had smelt "death",and soon after I told her about Eilish's death she was in contact with her. It seems if a person who has passed over is thinking about a particular person, or the reverse situation, and a medium is involved, that sets up the link or channel. It is a three way connection, to start with, with the lower minds involved, especially if the deceased is still in the border plane. This chapter covers our questions and answer period with the newly dead Eilish.Who had only just passed away on the ninth of February 1996.The language may be stilted but this is how it was . Nicole acted as the conscious medium and relayed all the messages. Without meditation I was unable to hear or see Eilish, but I could see the images in my mind's eye. Eilish suffered from bone-cancer and died of pneumonia, in hospital. (Her family had kept from her the fact that she was dying but she indicated to Nicole and I that she was aware of the fact.) EILISH. She knows about the after-life now. She went to the green hills, straight after leaving the body. Talking about Bridget-A grandaughter? She has a small antique oblong box, with a latch and wooden carvings. She wants Marie and Rosaleen to have it, (her eldest daughters.) She wants a mass at the funeral and food for all afterwards. A white sweet, (probably blancmange.) She also said that she didn't like the idea of being buried in the ground. Her body that is. She says that she is confused right now, what about Paul? (my brother whom she had a problem with.) I'd be happy to live in the hills. There is a wall, a brick wall, in the house, that needs painting. She thought there was a judgement but everything is so different from what she expected in the afterlife. Happy that the girls are at home with her husband, Gregg. Uncle Ted is here and another man, he will come in a dream. People are meeting her in the hills. There's a lady there to help her. MESSAGE FOR ANTHONY. I liked his eyes when he was a baby. You could tell that he was different, from his eyes. They were violet and looked different. Can she hold her rosary beads and cross? Are there steps to the light? (We had told her to look for the light, the clear light.) She remembers sunsets being beautiful in the hills. We asked Eilish whether she would mind if I asked God to send a Deva, Angel, to protect her. She said I could if I wanted to. At that moment two appeared, one each side of her, they were golden in colour. At this point I held her hand for a while, I could feel the warmth. She has a message for my mother, her sister Marie, that she will see her soon enough. Thanks to Marie and Rosaleen and thanks to someone for financial help. There is a Holy Cloth for Marie to put on her lap, light yellow khaki in colour.(Marie is a Eucharistic Minister, and this cloth was probably a vestment that the late Father Ted owned and left to Eilish.) She will come and visit her husband, Gregg whilst he is quiet in his chair. She mentioned the wooden box for the girls again. She said that it's good that it's all alright with Paul, regrets not knowing his family but will see them. She wants her stuff to be given away not kept. Someone is going to have a baby, she'll see the baby in the spirit world and will visit after the baby is born. Tell Marie that we didn't have a friendship as adults for we lived too far apart but the bond is there.(my mother, Marie lived in Australia, at that time before returning to Ireland.) ANTHONY. Eilish said that, "we have a special bond. Thank you, I'll come in your dreams. A piece of my heart belongs to you". Appreciated me in her grief over Basil. I used to hold on to her legs and I had a little red tricycle. Eilish says that Nicole has a lot of psychic gifts to be proud of. Knows that my Dad, Tom, went to India again. She met my Dad before my mother did and liked him too. She said to thank Jeannie for what she did for Dad (Anthony). (Taking over the family and saving them all after Rose died.) She says Nicole looks like her mum, Jean. Says that her eyes aren't weak anymore and feels relieved that she's not responsible for people, and sacrificing in the meantime; now she can rest. She asked that on the day of the funeral I spend a minute thinking of her. (Thursday in the Canada.) END OF SESSION. AFTER DINNER SESSION. Eilish not so confused in the border plane now, happy to communicate and starting to understand her present condition. She says that Angels appear as soon as she thinks of them. During the session I held Esha's hand twice and felt the vibration and heat; Esha was happy about it. Nicole saw her take form twice whilst talking to her. She said that she talked sweetly and was small and pale but happy. She also said that Eilish was wearing a white or pearl necklace. I saw Esha's face in my mind, or in Nicole's. Esha said again that the after-death experience was nothing like she had been taught, (Catholic teaching.) (Eilish at this time of course was still in the Border Planes, or Bardos.) We didn't push the reading as Esha had only been over twentyfour hours and it was very tiring to Nicole. Eilish was happy to talk and enjoyed it. She also said that someone else was coming up soon, but I wasn't attached to this person.(Within two years Wally, my mother -in -law's husband died, it may have been him. Although in July 1998,her own husband Gregg died.) She was obviously seeing the future so we asked her about earth changes and she said that they would be noticed. She said that we will talk again before she moves on, she really does understand her situation now. I asked if she was unhappy that I couldn't make the funeral, she said that I had done enough already. She said that, before she died, her bones were painful and her lungs and throat were full of fluid. Esha said that she was glad to leave that old body. She also couldn't understand why I was a vegetarian and so I explained it to her, about non-violence, especially with regard to animals. This session had been in two parts; at a later session with Nicole, Esha talked about visiting India and seeing the markets. She said that my father was fixed in his belief systems. She also said that some of my children will have to spend time on the vital plane to learn. She stayed with Nicole for an hour just visiting at her apartment and said that she was quite a little missy .She said that some suffering my wife had as a child was.....(Private message). Eilish was very impressed with this type of "radio" she was using to communicate with Nicole, and she was happy she could be where she wanted immediately she thought of it. She also said that a lot of Anthony's friends are up here; (my friends). The next day I did a meditation , and I explained the bhajan to her. She asked about the worshiping and what I was doing with the flame. I explained the Arti, Maya. (It seems that my psychic ability is far stronger on the astral and mental than it is on the lower bardos,) During one meditation I took Esha by the hand and we went up through the dimensions. As happened to me in Prashanti. The next time I tried I was stopped by two Devas whe didn't want us doing it, for whatever reason. (She wanted her grandaughter to have one of her names. I was to put the request in an envelope and send it to the family, to be opened after the little girl was born. This was done and the little girl was so named.) On the 17th of February, 1997 I was meditating in the bath but could not hear Esha. I took my consciousness up to the vital plane, asking for my Higher Self's, Blessing, passing mishapen ghoulies on the way. I found her shell floating with mouth open. Either abandoned or asleep, I decided abandoned, she had moved on. This was the second death.(I asked my Higher Self, for help during these sessions, and the process I used was to completely relax my body and go into a state of meditation, then visualise as much as possible until the visions came by themselves.) I went up to see my uncle, Father Ted, on the Astral. He said Eilish had been there to his church but was not there now. Uncle John was dancing somewhere. Ted apologised for his rigidness whilst alive. I said not to worry, that was his belief system.. I went up to higher planes, there were formless beings, still couldn't find Eilish. Good blissful vibrations at this level. I heard Eilish call my name, she said lots of my friends are up here and lots of God's Devotees have been helping and instructing her. I explained a little about God's Dream, Avatars and about all being God, Also that all was a dream no matter what level or plane we're on. She was very happy and blissful and I talked about her husband Gregg. She said that she knew about him, she told me to buy him a book and send it to him. She was obviously very spiritual and could move through the different levels herself. She talked whilst I was writing. She says lifetimes don't matter anymore, and there are lots of advanced beings or Spiritual Teachers on this plane. She knows that there's no past, present or future, all is now. She can see the progression of lives but she's not attached to any of it. The Prayer Meeting was a big help to her and she said that "It moved me on,". She said that she now understands the symbolism of rites. She said that she knows I am with His/God's people now Anthony". Your life will go well now Anthony. you will help people, you are beloved of "The Lord" because you have surrendered to Him. "My death was also a help to you." "We had a strong bond, you were really my first child, but that is just at an Earthly level. I know they were just roles, All is One, play the game Anthony and enjoy it, you will succeed. "Love Eilish. 22/3/96. Eilish visited Nicole again with another woman, around fifty years of age. She said "The Truth you know is inside yourself. The Truth is real turning on a wheel of sorts. Life is an ongoing cycle. Remember the stone within that glows. She said to remember when you were a child. Nicole said that Eilish looked fresher and younger this time. Around about this time I was getting visits in meditation from a soldier in uniform. He would appear as I was coming down through the dream plane. I mentioned it to my wife a few times, that a soldier was visiting me. I realised after a few visits that it was Basil Weston and that he was coming to me, looking for Eilish. Perhaps he was on a different plane from her. However I did have a vison of them together. He was her partner and had been killed in Burma during WWII, and received the V.C. for sacrificing his life for his platoon. On 22/4/96 I met Eilish again, she appeared young, with long hair and a coat. She was quiet at first, and I thought she was mad at me, but no, she embraced me-a thank you, I think. I have seen Eilish since, looking young, wearing a white gown, waist-cord and going to some kind of school on a higher plane. I have gone up there several times and I know that Eilish is happy in the school. Eilish also told Nicole that she would come back and would be a cousin of her children. I didn't follow up whether Basil was still with her, in a spiritual sense. I had a feeling he was somewhere else, perhaps reincarnated. Whilst visiting Nicole, Eilish inspired this poem by Nicole. FOR THE LOVE OF LOST ONES. When all is quiet, but for the sound of breath; The sweetness of youth is eternal; Drinking in Life is Love ,in all it's purity; Life is a verse from an old song, that you remember from when a child; When all is weak and unbearable reach out and touch your childhood dreams; there you will find the beginning of Love and Passion; Life is like a see-saw, going up and down, like the ocean being pulled by currents from above; Every seed planted focuses on a cycle of life, eventually it will all come together and blossom. In respects to Eilish Nicole O'Clery. I have found that I can communicate with Eilish if I meditate, go up the dimensions and visualise her. Last time I heard her "voice," saying that the image wasn't her, she was something else ,the image it seems is my mind's way of communicating with her. The image is just the message that I am trying to communicate. The states that Eilish was in are pretty typical of the Karmic Bardos. That is self created worlds, as in the dream plane. One it seems will create according to one's belief. If one is a Christian there may be saints etc, other beliefs would have their own structures. According to mystic and psychic tradition when one dies, one immediately checks in with the Lord or Clear Light of consciousness. If one is able to recognise this then one merges and becomes liberated. Most have Karma that drags them down and they awake on the border plane, just above the material plane. They stay there for a time before moving up to their appropriate level of consciousness. Where they stay until their karma runs out and they take rebirth. Undeveloped souls would re-incarnate immediately, which is what happens to the majority, according to some. PURIFICATION OF THE BUDDHI,AND SELF-SADHANA.,Talk to a Hindu group. P=Participant. Before I start let me say that because I can talk about all this, doesn't mean I can do it. Also I believe Creation didn't happen and all this is just an appearance, but as Sankara said, its real whilst you are in it. Purification of the Buddhi, or the individualised version of the universal Mahat, is necessary for spiritual progress. The Buddhi is an aspect of the Vijnanamayakosha or Awareness Sheath, it is the Inner Mind or Antahkarana. When it is turned inwards it pierces through Maya and leads to Moksha or Liberation. When it is turned outward it only succeeds in enhancing the power of the Lower Mind or Manamayakosha. This part of the mind is turned out to desires and satisfaction of the senses. A Buddhi turned outwards is a distortion of its'function. The five koshas are the ANNAMAYA,PRANAMAYA,MANOMAYA,JNANAMAYA,ANANDAMAYA KOSHAS. THAT IS THE FOOD,ENERGY,MIND,AWARENESS OR INTELLECTUAL,BLISS OR CAUSAL SHEATHS. These Sheaths all relate to different planes of consciousness of course. The first thing you have to do when washing dirty clothes is loosen the dirt first then you can wash the clothes. This is all illusion, for example do you get involved in a T.V. show? Do you feel for the person suffering? Well this world is also an illusion, why get involved in it? Feel compassion yet but do not get attached. We must start self-sadhana by purifying the food sheath and work our way up so to speak. We purify the food sheath by regulating our food and avoiding tamasic food and meat. Eating meat means we absorb bad vibrations plus we are sending billions of Jivas to the subtle world many of which are born again as humans. Billions of people were these animals in their last lives and they bring their resentment of human beings with them. The resentment of their bad treatment and having their lives cut short. Hence this contributes to violence, mass slaughters and so on. People don't realise this, and they wonder why kids kill kids or there are massacres like Ruanda. We purify the energy sheath by controlling our desires. This is also connected to the mind sheath where desires and attachment to the senses have to be controlled. The important sheath in this process is the awareness sheath which is part and parcel of the Buddhi, and controls and guides the lower sheaths particularly the mind. Intelligence isn't awareness, some geniuses are spiritually ignorant and unaware. The Guru. "SPARSHAN,DARSHAN AND SAMBHASHAN.That is awareness of His presence, receiving the impact of His Divinity and assimilating and actualising His teaching, not just seeing, touching and listening. Darshan is the Insight of Divine Beauty acquired from meditation. Sparshan means the installation of the lotus feet, and all that means,in one's heart. Sambharshan means praying directly before Him and listening to His response before the inner altar of one's heart.Meditation in other words. Only a deserving Shisya gets a proper Guru.....Gita 4:39.40,and Sankara's Viveka Chudamani 19,20,and 363. So Buddhi should control the mind and not the reversal.S.S. and Gita 2:62.Gita 9:22. It is said that desire (for purification or Liberation) without effort is useless, Self-Sadhana purifies our impulses. "Manas Sathyate Shuddhate". Only Truth can purify and sublimate the mind. To achieve this purification there are Four Exercises. 1) Swadhaya, that is reading spiritual books, bhajan, satsang, to make us aware of the Atma. 2) Japa, this should go on unceasingly, be aware and only come out into the world when it is necessary. To think of 'God' at death is very difficult, if you haven't practiced the Name all your waking life. It is better to start at about eight or nine years of age. Some people die and don't even realise they have died, others get distracted at the last moment, or are confused by the memories of their life. It is not so easy to be like Ghandiji and remember Rama as we die. Nobody experiences death for one is unconscious. Except if you are a Yogi then there is no death of course. Sankara says death is being separated from our desires. 3)Homa, Japa becomes Homa, offer all activities to The Lord all day long.Don't offer Grace just for meals, Brahmarpnam etc is to purify our inner being for all is food for the senses. 4)Brahmiya Kriyate Tanuhu.A Divine Inner Body".(1) Finally this inner balance leads to purification of the Buddhi. Cessation of the mind is the goal. The Buddhi is not present in deep sleep just the thought "I am sleeping", we must purify even that thought and become God. Once we have stilled all thought we are God, we enter the fourth or Turiya stage of consciousness. See all as God, Do all as God.This is through DAYA,KSHAMA,AND SHANTI; Compassion, Forgiving those that trespass against us, and Peace to all, all is God. Love,Love,Love,Prema,Prema,Prema. All is One!This is were helping others comes in for it lessens our preoccupation with ourselves and therefore weakens the ego sense, and helps expand our vision. KOHAM.............SOHAM.Who am I? I am He!' Drive the thought inward to the Universal "I". By eliminating the illusion of an individual ego. "I"is that background feeling of awareness that suffuses everything. All these exercises are to purify one's Buddhi so that one may have one-pointedness and achieve Liberation, or loss of illusion and Moha. For a purified Buddhi is essentially a state of no mind, which is Liberation. Love is the answer, infuse our thoughts! (When a stage is reached that one feels deeply that whatever is being done is happening and one has not got anything to do with it,then it becomes such a deep conviction that whatever is happening is not happening really; And that whatever seems to be happening is also an illusion.)Sri Nisagardatta Maharaj. We move from thinking we are our own thought, to realising we are God's thought and eventually we realise there was no thought at all, just Bliss. Questions and statements,Tony and Participants.(It is all opinions.) Tony.....How do you purify yourself?I'll throw it out to the male side first. Joyce(Co-ordinator.).....Let's have a minutes meditation first! P(participant.).....What is the relationship between internal and external purification? Is physical purification required for internal purification? Tony.....We live in a polluted world, everything is polluted;the water we drink is polluted, the food we eat is polluted, the people we talk to are polluted,we are polluted. There is no difference.Everything is One.We divide the bodies and consciousness up into different planes, but it is actually just one.You cannot have impure mind, body and be physically impure and then try and purify the inner mind.It would be exremely difficult to do,it is all one,the body is what we eat,and our mind is what we hear, read or think. There is no difference between outer and inner purification it's all the same thing.(It seems we have to have purification of the outer to some degree in order to work on the inner.Eventually when reaching the light of the Self all impurity would be burned up.) P....I think the most purest form of purification would be early childhood, four or five years old,to start the purification process.I have a question. You are saying Sparshan, Darshan and Sambarshan.....If you go through all three of those,in the presence of a Yogi, and touch the feet etc, does the purification process increase? Tony.....Well I'm not a Yogi but they say if you touch the feet of a Yogi, the fact that you are near the energy, it would help you along in the purification process obviously, but if you go inside yourself then that is as far away as 'God' is . So you can have it come from inside as well. So it helps,it's not absolutely necessary but,for a lot of people,it helps. P.....Purification can be achieved by first recognising and searching within yourself.First learn to love yourself because by loving yourself you can give this love.Once you have Divine Love to other human beings, towards the Earth, towards Mankind, towards the Universe purification is automatic. Tony.....That's exactly the fourth exercise..Shanti..Love,Love,Love, Prema,Prema,Prema. It comes under Shanti one of the four exercises...It's Shanti. P.....I think purification starts with control of the senses, not eating meat and if watching television, watching only non-violent shows. Tony.....That's how it all started whether you descended as a Being or came up from the animals. Those big girls painted on the side of hoardings in India, shouldn't even look at that.It changes the direction of the mind all the time....Mental Pollution..exactly. P.....You are what you eat...Purification Process starts with Compassion....eating habits, eliminate killing...etc. Tony.....Exactly. P....(Joyce the Co-Ordinator.)Talking about not positive but negative emotions.Feelings like;anger,greed,jealousy,fear,envy...we have them all in one degree or another. Pray about it,meditate about it,....clean your heart everyday you go into meditation and ask to be helped to be cleaned out.Without that you will never be pure. Our feelings bring us to our troubles and we simply got ourselvles into it with what we have been given as a gift....our minds. We can get ourselves out of it.Sometimes people will hold on to a feeling ,a negative feeling intil they die rather than give it up.I've seen it over and over and over.So you have to be honest with yourself.First deal with it...ask for help and may be just may be we will be purified. Tony..Right..Somebody over here now? P.....You mention Pollution,I think we are surrounded by negative influences, sensuality, television etc.We have to control our energies, thoughts and direct them on the path of meditation and purification. P.....Purifying our thoughts starts within, but there are so many outside influences. One thing that comes to my mind, was the onion.Peeling away our faults,no matter how many tears to get rid of negative emotions.Going through all negative emotions peeling away slowly one at a time, slowly but surely. Tony.....That's a good method,a lot of Yogis use it,they say Neti...Neti...not this ...not this...All the bad thoughts and so called good thoughts and things they eliminate one at a time. They end up with the one thought....Yes..that's what we have to do. Tony.....There are many different ways and everyone has mentioned an angle of the same thing. So many different people,so many different levels of awareness. So people are coming from different directions all the time. P.....This gentleman touched on what I wanted to say about continuing to ask the question "Who am I?". Joyce referred to emotions,so often our thought patterns which continually jump up from simple thoughts result in negative emotions, that she listed. But if we go back further the problem stems from believing that we are the body and I think continuing to ask the question"Who am I?" has to be the greatest purification. Tony....By asking the question "Who am I?",that is the original thought of human beings, the Ego,that is the original fall of human beings:I".Every thought is connected with the "I"-because you own the thought, therefore if you go back to the feeling of "Who am I?",and you eliminate the "I" or you try and find the "I" you'll find the "I"does not exist. There is only one Universal "I".At that point the originator of all your problems and all your impurities and all your thoughts are gone. The chain is broken-the mind doesn't exist-it's just a bundle of thoughts and desires--and they are all connected to the"I" thought. The feeling of"I, once the "I" thought is gone then they go.This is the whole process of elimination. Is to bring the mind in and in and in,whether it's through different practical exercises or meditating. It's to get one pointedness, one pointedness,of concentration and go in and get the feeling like you were a little child.Jesus said "suffer little children come unto me".What He meant was be like little children,an innocent child. P...(Same person.)...Having said what I have said,I also believe that a certain degree of subtley of mind is required to even be in a level of consciousness to even want to ask the question"Who am I?".To grasp the purpose of asking it,so a certain level of basic purification is already necessary. Tony.Yes... they say there are "horses for courses",what suits one doesn't suit another.(There are different levels of awareness.) P...Male..Love All.?. Tony.....What does it mean?--well someone over here just mentioned it,start off by loving yourself and realising you are not an individual. You are everything and the purpose of loving all and serving all is getting your mind off yourself. It has all got to do with concentration, when you help people,it's not the people that you are helping. You've been given the opportunity to help them so you can help yourself. If you don't help them, they are God's people,God's poor,God will help them anyway. You're helping them to help yourself. It's to reduce your own ego, your own "I" feeling, the more you help people. Many many years ago when I stopped drinking and I used to go to A.A..They had a saying that if you are thinking of other people you can't get depressed,if you are out helping other people it's pretty hard to get depressed, because you aren't thinking of yourself. This is one of the main reasons for Seva, your mind isn't thinking about yourself, you are thinking of this person and that person, and you're not thinking of yourself, and that reduces your"I",thought. That's why "Love All". P...same person.Enslavement, you are a slave? Tony.....No,No,it's not being a slave,a slave is somebody that has no will, there is no karma(Seva),in being a slave, for he has to do as he is told. There is no good or bad karma in being a slave,he has to do as he is told. When you are doing good work like this, you are creating good karma of course,if you can eliminate the "I" thought, you eliminate that as well. It's not enslavemenat helping other people,a slave has no choice. P.... The best method is Namasmarana, and only seeing God,seeing everything pure, and you will see yourself pure. Tony.....Japa is the same thing. It's like the psychiatrist programming one's mind,he doesn't eliminate the problem thoughts but reduces them to say 5%.The other 95% is the programming the psychiatrist put in there. So for all intents and purposes the bad thoughts are gone. With Japa you are programming yourself, you are programming your mind with God.The Name of God,The Form of God and God are all the same thing, there's no difference. So by doing Japa you increase the Love, you purify by "eliminating" other thoughts from the mind, and constant Japa....well it creates Liberation. P...same person..In the Baghavad Gita Lord Krishna says see all equally as God.See only the Pure no dirt, everything is Pure. P.....To purify ourselves,to engage ourselves in good satsang and meditation, jnana, which is a step towards purifying ourself.Talking about food--the concept here is Hindus not eating meat, for more sathwik food, but there are more tamasic food in vegetables. Tony.....Like eating too many onions and chillis? P....same person.Correct! In Ayuraveda there are more Tamasik vegetables mentioned--in a book by Sankara--I can't remember the name--advising not eating tamasik food.Talking about eating meat there are so many Saints eating meat, talking about the Buddha. There is a Buddhist concept we take food from other people, whatever they offer we eat.But they are highly spiritual Saints and all. Tony.....To a highly evolved Yogi(Jivanmukti),it doesn't matter what you eat anyway. P...same person.Yes!Basically not eating meat to avoid killing. There are lots of people eating meat, they are more spiritual than those who are eating vegetables. Tony.....It depends on what your level of awareness is,there are four types of Human Being,Human animal,Aspiring Human Being,Human Being and Divine Human life form. If you are a Human Animal you can do all the things that animals do-mate,eat,sleep,defend whatever. If you are an Aspiring Human Being you have to change yourself from an animal. You have to take on Ahimsa, not killing an animal to eat its meat. Human Beings are like a flower,a flower bursts into creation and it gets to a certain point,at the end of the day when it closes its petals and it goes back in again.Human Beings are the same, not every flower bursts into creation and comes back in at the same time. Some close earlier some close later, the person still coming out into manifestation, they are more likely to be a Human Animal. If they have decided to close in the petals and come back;whereas they are more likely to be an aspiring Human Being. Tony....And now we can have the last speaker. P.....A last thought --to say that cleanliness is next to Godliness, cleanliness spiritually and physically its the same.So for the spiritual and mental we shall take a bath.We take a mental bath whilst we are doing our prayers and meditation,so it washes our mind.It should wash our mind but we don't know how pure we are,or where we are at.So by just doing it,we should eliminate some of the impurities that we think and receive. Tony....It's no good in wanting to be Liberated unless you have a method of Sadhana. You have to have a practice, you have to have a system. It's no good saying I want to be Liberated, you've got to have a system. You say Morning Prayers, how much Japa do you do on a regular basis, how much Seva do you do.You have to have a Sadhana,if you don't have a Sadhana you're not going to get anywhere,Even if it's just thinking I'm not the "I". Joyce...Thank you Tony for giving us this opportunity to think about ourselves.I was just thinking you can't love yourself unless you purify yourself, you have guilt about whatever you are doing, that will destroy that self love.Thank you again.    THE TAO AND BRAHMAN. Edited talk to a Chinese Group. As previously mentioned, in the Chinese Culture that there are various Gods, as there are in the Indian Culture and many diverse others. Christians have their Patron Saints which is essentially the same thing. Brahman is T'ai-chi, Tai Hsu, Tai I, T'ien, The Tao or The Way. He is motionless yet is the means of all motion. He is Formless yet appears to have a form. He is the Yin and the Yang which are contained within Him but at the same time He is beyond them. He is The Self. From The Tao; comes Yin and Yang, then k'un the feminine principle, and ch'ien the male principle, then Ming or life principle from Yin, and Hsing or human nature from Yang, then P'O,the lower spirit from Yin, and Hun,the higher spirit from Yang, at death P'o becomes Kuei and Hun becomes Shen, hopefully. Then comes Ch'i from Yin, and Ching from Yang. Life, or (Ming), and Consciousness, (Hui), when unified are the Tao. (Hsing,or human nature is part of Hui.) (1) It is all about unifying everything within consciousness and rising to be God. In actual reality all is one, but if you believe in Gods then for you there are Gods. The various heirarchies in the universe are as real as you are, and Who are You? Koham-------Soham! There are many Gods/Spirits to whom one can direct prayers, and if one directs the prayer to the wrong form it is ignored, for the address is incorrect. There is no point in asking for rain from the God of Health and Splendour. A Saint is not like this, He is not here to grant worldly boons, although He sometimes does if it helps spiritual not material progress. He will give you what you need not what you want. "God does not come down as Descent to relieve individuals of their troubles and sorrows. Difficulties and troubles come in the natural course as a consequence of past actions. The Divine comes as a Saint or Bhodisattva, only to teach mankind the truth about Love (Prema). It is love and sacrifice which make man divine For a prayer to reach God it must have three qualifications; firstly it must not be motivated by personal desire, secondly it must emanate from unselfish love, and thirdly it must come from pure hearts. A Saints comes to show the way to Liberation, His miracles are just His calling card, and He uses them to encourage people as well. The whole reason for is for us to purify our minds or Spirit Body, in Taoist terms, in order that we may progress on the road to Moksha or Liberation. If we don't get liberation in this life lets at least have a good death and go to a High Heavenly Plane, not end up in the lower Bardos. Or even taking birth too quickly in a low family or condition. We must work for a Chin-Tan or Golden Ball or Golden Flower, which is Kundalini of course. We must become Bangaroo or "Golden One,"which is similar to Chin-Tan. Kundalini rises naturally in a purified subtle body or Sukshma deha. In Vedanta Yoga there are three bodies; the shtula deha, or gross body, the sukshma deha, or subtle body, and the karana sarira, or causal body. These contain five kosas or sheaths the Annamaya or food, the pranamaya or vital energy, the manomaya or mind, the vijnanamaya or intellectual awareness, and finally the anandamaya kosa or bliss sheath. The initial three anna, prana, and manomaya, food vital and mind, correspond roughly with the p'o, which becomes the kuei at death. The energy is heavy ,turbid, and full of desires, anger, and is also sombre and moody. The higher two sheaths, vijnanamayakosha, or awareness, and the anandamayakosha, or bliss, correspond with the Hun, which hopefully becomes the Enlightened Shen at death or a Deva. If one is realised it becomes The Tao itself. For the Shen is the Tao but is ignorant of this fact. If one has a purified spirit body or kosas, Buddhi, the Hun rises up to the heaven planes and becomes Shen. While the P'o becomes Kuei and sinks down and eventually disintegrates. This doesn't mean there is no Shen just that it is not pure or manifested, it is still potential. If one has not developed a purified body or Buddhi then the the entity, on death, does not recognise the "Clear Light" of Moksha. Therefore it does not rise, due to the pull of the desires and confusion in the unpurified lower bodies, or P'O. As it doesn't have a purified spirit body, or Chin-Tan, or is not a Bangaroo, it does not become a dweller in higher heavens but dwells in the lower realms, consciously or unconsciously until rebirth takes place. There are many levels in the after life. There is the concept of seven Astral and Seven Mental planes, three of the mental planes are formless, and then the purely spiritual planes. The lower Astral, and border plane, are the home of the hungry ghosts or Pretas. These are all mental constructs of course and exist in our own minds, and different peoples give them different names. You won't go to a High Heaven if your Spriritual Awareness is not to that level. For you to call on Jesus/Kuan Yin or any God form, at death your mind must be full of Him/Her all the time: We all must do Japa! It won't be easy to remember Him at death if you haven't remembered Him in your lifetime. Some people die and don't even know that they have died! It is not just enough to do good we must also raise our awareness. This has nothing to do with human intelligence and knowledge, which is just ignorance or Avidya really, even if one is a so-called genius. Awareness is Spiritual Intelligence or the rise of True Consciousness. Awareness is being sensitive and compassionate, which involves thinking about other sentient beings, whether they be a man or a mouse. We must all do the Gayatri Mantra! Or something similar. This is all part of the purification process, or "Chai", that we are all to go through. There is a purification text, from China ,which includes vegetarianism called "San-p'ien chai-fa" by Liu Hsing-ching. We have to develop Premabhakti for that is the easy way, and Bhakti has stages of growth just as the human body itself does. It too starts out with Form and ends in Formless Surrender. Love becomes Love! There are different types of humans and they are; 1)Human Animal, 2)Aspiring Human Being, 3)Human Being, 4)Divine Human. What applies to a human animal does not apply to a Seeker or Aspiring Human Being, although it should. The human animal has the same character as any animal. It eats, sleeps, mates and defends and is concerned with the acquisition of territory, possessions and the satisfaction of desires. Even the birds, dogs, and monkeys acquire things and are ruled by the senses and desires, as are the human animal. As the predator does so the human animal does, it kills and eats other animals for sport and food, the difference being that humans act with full knowledge. This goes back to the fact we have been animals in many previous lives and we still carry the traits with us today. Even worse, many of us, as spirit entities, descended into animals millions of years ago, before the human ape was formed, and we perverted the animal instincts and nature for our own desires and lusts. We even formed, monstrosities and mixture animals like sphinxes and pans ,and this condition did not end until fairly recently. Take for example the yakshas and rakshasas in the Ramayana. It is said the Yakshas had deep holes for eyes and no noses. Then there is Hanuman and Ruksharaj the ape, who is the mother of the Sugriva clan. They were still treating mixtures, and Yakshas in Eygpt 11,000 years ago, and this was the last of them except perhaps for "Bigfoot, Sasquatch or the Yeti". Most humans alive today are probably recent mixtures or animals and still have the animal awareness to a greater or lessor extent. It is interesting that religion only evolved within the last ten thousand years, as a means of training unaware minds, before that there was spirituality for the humans and nothing for the monstrosities and mixtures. There were always hordes of monstrosities and mixtures, as is evidenced by the unaware billions of human animals today. On Atlantis there were about seventy million humans and many mixtures, it is believed. Also Rama said he would return to rescue, from ignorance the hordes of Yakshas and Rakshasas that served Ravana. Who was perhaps the King of Atlantis but had his capital on a now sunken island in the Indian Ocean. That in fact is many of us today! This sad and deplorable condition, of being a human animal, is the lot of many so called highly intelligent persons. Most people live mainly in the Manomaya Kosha, or Mind Sheath, just as the animal does. There is barely a glimmer of true intellect or the Vijnanamaya Kosha. There is no Chin-Tan, no Bangaroo, no Golden One. This Vijnanamaya sheath is of discrimination, the ability to see what is wrong and what is right, what is real and what is unreal. This is awareness, an awareness that can't turn a blind eye to the suffering of an animal, or the suffering of so many starving and sick humans. So lacking this "developed awareness sheath", the human animal goes on living a very shallow life dominated by desires and negative qualities and only concerned with its own self first. Any manifestation of the intellect at all, is all very much on a mundane level and serves really to enhance the lower mind sheath and thats all. Even such people as professors, artists and scientists can still be only human animals. The Aspiring Human being tries essentially to put into practice of Shanti or Peace, and Ahimsa or Non-Violence. People should try to avoid Intoxicants, Smoking, Meat Eating, and Gambling. Let us look at the violation of Ahimsa due to meat eating for example, for the animal has to be cruelly treated and killed. Then Dharma is violated for eating meat is not for human beings, Truth is violated by the peversion of Sathya to Egoistic ends, Shanti is violated by the combination of pain and terror we have caused the animal, and the bad vibrations released. Prema is violated because instead of loving the animal we have perpetrated a violent act on it, and we have peverted our own Dharma. There is no Prema there! So to become an aspiring human being it is helpful to avoid eating meat, for if we eat meat we develop animal tendencies and diseases. It is interesting that Ghandiji ate unfertilised eggs when he was sick. I suppose they are just protein like milk products, yogurt and cheese. We should cultivate a Sathwic diet, avoiding too many onions and chillies and other foods that cause a disturbance in the mind. Food is everything that we take in through our senses, not just our stomaches, so we have to be careful. So there is a lot of work we have to do to purify our koshas or spiritual body. We in fact have lived infinite lives for although there is no beginning there can be an end. It is not God that allocates our lifetimes it is ourselves, our own Karma. We only ever meet ourselves in these lives, it is ourselves that punishes and rewards us. For we are God but don't realise it, when we do we, will realise that it was all a dream. Karma or Action creates a memory, which in turn creates a desire, which creates another Action. So Karma is memory of good or bad action and it must be balanced. This is the reason for re-birth. It is never ending and it is no use pruning the tree, we must dig it out at the roots. The next stage of Human Being is reached through absolute surrender to His Will and becoming a True Devotee and Jivanmukta, that is liberated whilst still in the body. This is Bangaroo or Chin-Tan, The Golden One. It is also" no-thought" and a risen Kundalini. Kundalini will rise by itself quietly in a True Devotee, for it is unbroken consciousness already. In the Gita 2:71, it says "The man who sheds all longing and moves without concern, free from the sense of "I" and "mine", he attains peace." The last stage is Divine Human like the Buddhas, Bhodisattvas and Karana Janimas/Descents to help all beings to become truly human. So the practical application of all the teachings is to purify the koshas or spirit body so that at death it will leave by the 'thousand petalled lotus' on top of the head, and gain Union with The Tao or Brahman. Or at the very least through the nose or mouth, so it can enter the spirit world easily and fit there. For if it is still desireful it will leave through the lower orifices like the lower door of the belly, for it will be confused in the Bardo and not attain a good birth or Liberation. Worldly people lose the roots and cling to the treetops. This is the reason for purifying oneself. We should surrender to The Lord/Goddess and let Him be the doer, this is Nishkarma karma, or no desire for the result of our actions, therefore the action is God's. If we surrender we are inviting the Lord into our meditation and lives, He carries our load, this is action through non-action, Wu-Wei. "Be like a new born baby accepting things as they come without distinction. "Lao-tzu. "Be frugal, selfless and still, "Lao-Tzu. "He who practises The Way or Tao, does less every day, does less and goes on doing less until he reaches the point where he does nothing,--and yet there is nothing that is not done." Chuang-Tzu. Transmutation takes place in three stages; first of all coarse ching, ch'i and shen have to converted to the subtle stage, then to pure yang-shen or Cosmic Spirit, and then to Void or Ultimate Tao  THE TAO AND BRAHMAN. Talk to Chinese Devotees 2nd March,1998.Vancouver. Some of the Chinese Gods, but not all, have come from India,or rather Bharat, probably via Tibet. Some belong to the Chinese Folk Religions, which have become mixed up with everything.Others go back to antiquity ,such as the Pole Star God and the adjacent Star Gods,or The Queen of Heaven or Divine Mother. It is interesting that in the Bhagavata Purana Visnu is symbolically thought of as dwelling in the pole star,Dhruva. Some say that Arcturus is the centre of our universe.(The brightest star in the sky.)In fact no race has earlier God forms than any other, they all happened at the beginning of Man,and all exist in Swami. However in China,as in India, there is something that is far older than all these later Gods and that is China's own version of Sanathana Dharma or the Ancient Wisdom,The Tao.,which in India is known as Brahman.(Saguna and Nirguna.)This is the Nameless Supreme State of Being, which is also known as "The Self".The pure teaching of The Tao is not different from the non-dualism of Advaita Vedanta, although it is couched in Chinese cultural terms.Sometimes the Tao is referred to as the Mother, which in India is Saguna Brahman or the Devi.Taoism uses the one term to describe all the aspects of the Tao,unlike the Indians who specify names for them. However the egg of Yin-Yang can be identified with the Hiranyagharba of Vedanta, containing the Mahat or Cosmic Ego and Purusha-Prakriti,male and female energies.Out of this egg come the five elements that become creation. The less pure stages of Taoist Religion are not that different from any other systems of religion though. This teaching was handed down via the ancient Gobi Civilisation, tens of thousands of years ago and before that even. There has always been Sages and teachers of this knowledge, even from the beginning of life on this planet. This knowledge at one time was extant throughout the world.Even in Britain there were temples as big as football fields, and consisting of nine concentric circles, of one metre wide oaks spaced a metre apart,5,000,or more, years ago. This was a system of Ancient Wisdom, not Shamanism. Most of the wisdom has been lost except for small pockets around the world.Only in India has it been preserved on a large scale and then in rural areas, and Ashrams, and of course in all the scriptural texts. The Communists or Red Flood destroyed most of the outer structure of Ancient Wisdom in China. Now the Goal of the Tao is to live in harmony with Nature and live wisely whilst working on removing the Ego.The eventual Goal is to return to the Source or Liberation. In other words to expand the consciousness so that it contains everything and in fact is everything. The way of the Tao can be seen in Nature and in The Natural Forces.Everything seems to evolve by itself naturally surrendered to the Tao.In other words The Way,or Tao,is Dharma itself, which is automatic for Nature. However Nishkarma Karma is necessary for the different levels of humans. It can be compared to growing effortlessly like a flower(,Wu-Wei).Eventually seeing all and nature as yourself. Read pages 37,38,39,from Taoism (2) (1) Richard Wilhelm .."The Secret of the Golden Flower",1962,Harvest Books New York. (2) John Blofeld,"Taoism",1978,Shambala Publications,Inc,Boulder,Colorado. Thought Forms. Thought forms can change the world. This I believe will be achieved on the subconscious level, or Universal Mind Level. Similar thought vibrations are attracted to each other and form "Thought Forms." So a build up of good forms effects all humanity, as do bad thoughts. A thought is a thing as is our mind, for the mind is after all just a bundle of thoughts. People chanting has improved the planet and prevented many disasters already. Jesus and many other Great Masters also set up patterns at the Universal Mind Level. Even the Yogi in the cave does the same thing. Babaji was doing this for many years in the Himalayas. For example violence of any kind builds up a huge "Thought Form", which is more powerful than most individual minds. So the slaughter of animals for food builds up the power of this form and then people wonder where the impulse for war, violence, earthquakes and natural disasters comes from. Some of these influences are very old indeed and go back to the beginning of time. There are many forms and captive spirits left on the psychic planes from the days of the Aztecan Priests and even to Atlantis, Lemuria and before. There is probably a twenty million year build up at least. Most people are unaware of this fact, because they cannot see it. Science is incapable of measuring it, so as far as the scientists are concerned it doesn't exist. Although Jungian followers may have a better chance of accepting the idea. Thought forms influence the way we are ruled for example and the Instruments of Power are Spiritually and Morally corrupt. This is no doubt helped and influenced by ancient Thought Forms and Spirits. This includes all forms of power, such as Business, Government and Religions even. People with Egoistic tendencies are attracted to these fields and are easy prey for the great influences of the "thought forms" and spirits. There are ancient massive thoughtforms for every human activity. Soon even the honest are corrupted and become a contributor to this problem, where untruth is regarded as truth and appearances becomes the order of the day. The lie of the advertising industry and the manipulation of the truth is another symptom. These influences can appear in many disguises, such as abolishing prayer in schools and the so called separation of Church and State. The elimination of Christ from Christmas and turning St. Nicholas into a materialist Santa, for example. This fight between the followers of God and the followers of Materialism is as old as time itself and was responsible for the demise of civilisations such as Atlantis and Lanka. These influences have returned and are masquerading as honest leaders in our society. Ask yourself what kind of society bans prayer in school and you will have your answer on who is in power. Is it the followers of The Lord or the followers of Selfishness and Materialism. Evil can have a nice face even Hitler loved his budgie and cried when it died. So the" Power Elite" is plugged into and controlled by these ancient "thought forms" and is adding to the forms at an alarming rate. This is so overwhelming that a Divine Descent is almost necessary to help mankind build good forms and overcome this evil that has taken over the world again. Anything which denies Divinity is part of this immense evil. Even Humanistic ideas that exclude Divinity are part of it. There is only a follower of God and a follower of Egoistic Selfishness, no in between. The collapse of Communism, has freed up the thoughtsphere so to speak, for there were huge dark thoughtforms of fear covering those countries. The collapse of the Eastern Block commenced with the fall of the Berlin Wall, on 9th,of Novembera,1989. If you examine the numerology you will see, the ninth day of the ninth year of the decade.1989 adds up to 27,which is a 9, 9 is the day and November, even though it is the 11th month, in Latin means ninth month. So here we have three 9s and that is 27,which is a 9,the Divine number. Russia and Eastern Europe were the last of the Demon, Rakshasa States, the others were the Nazis, the Italian Fascists and the Japanese. There were other smaller ones later, like Pol Pot's Kampuchea, but they didn't present the global threat the others did. There is now only the Red Chinese to come, and not forgetting Capitalism also. In the Cayce readings(1),there are two groups called the followers of "The Law of One"[Hear O Israel(,seekers), The Lord thy God is One", was the cry of Atlantis; "Sh'ma Yisrael Adonai Elohaynu Adonai Echad"], and the "Sons of Belial". They are both here today in incarnation,I n thought form and in spirit influence. This is the real "Satan" of some of the Religions. There is of course no real personified being as the "Devil". Satan is part of this massive" Thought Form." People are not aware that when they enter this field that their minds are influenced and even taken over by it. See how politicians will execute someone just to buy votes in an election. This happens in the U.S. for example right up to the highest positions in the land. There is proof of the Universal Mind, even for the most sceptical. For example it is a known fact that doing a difficult crossword, for example, in the evening instead of the morning is easier to complete. This is no doubt because many people have already completed it in the morning and the answers are already in the Universal Subconscious. Some people like the English Philosopher Rupert Sheldrake have carried out tests on crossword buffs and found that by doing the crossword in the evening it was completed 20% faster! He calls it Morphic Resonance which is just another way of describing what the mystics would call Mind. Then of course we have the Universal Archetypes that Carl Jung talks about. These are common to all mankind and each group or religion also has its own .That is why when we leave the body we see the forms and Gods of our own religion, we enter the Bardo of our own group. The principle of like attracting like also applies when we are reincarnating. We pick up our thought forms or Samskaras as we descend through each of the planes to our new body. Each form being particular to each plane, these are our Karmas! Ideas arise exponentially in different parts of the world at the same time. This accounts for similarities in music and invention and so on. For the mind had no distance or time really and we are only parts of the whole not separate from it. It's strange but whilst I was writing this chapter I had a visit from a friend of my daughters, who is a musician. Jason had sometime before made some changes to a popular song. He never did play these changes in public. Sometime later the original performers made exactly the same changes, which startled Jason. How I explained this to him was this way. I explained that the song and lyrics formed a vibratory "thought form". Something like information on a computer disc. Now by thinking about this particular thought form Jason and his friend connected with it. They in fact programmed the variances and alterations into the form. The next time the original musicians plugged into the form they of course picked up on the changes, and that's how it happens. Jason vowed never to leave changes fallow again. So following this idea it is so important to watch one's thoughts. For they contribute to the evolving habits and instincts of the common mind, which in turn affect action and individual thinking. Monkeys in Japan learn how to wash food and other monkeys on isolated islands adopt the same behaviour, without meeting the other monkeys. This could be explained by reincarnation but then there is still the mind the information comes from. This is "instinct", pre- learned behaviour and tendencies, common to animal and human animal alike. The difference between animal and human animal is that humans have a awareness potentiality which is far more developed than animals. Most don't ever use this potential so aren't much different from animals. This accounts for people who are very intelligent, geniuses even, still eating meat and contributing to the suffering of animals. Their awareness or Buddhi sheath is only potential and is not developed. What we call intellectual is not the intellectual sheath at all but a developed mind sheath, with a modicum of the intellectual sheath. This accounts for the spiritual ignorance of so called great minds It is like a pyramid starting at the apex and working down. First there are the individual thought forms; then the family, then the tribe, then the Nation ,then the Race, then the culture, then the Genus, then the Species. So we all have group souls but humans have the Ego developed, which animals don't, but all this is probably only up to the level of the "mind sheath" or manomayakosha. We have to purify the Buddhi or Intellectual Awareness Vijnanamayakosha. This will allow us to evolve to the Divine Human Level! At the Divine Level all the dream disappears and was found not to have happened. We are all One. DESCENTS, (MAGIC, SHAPE-SHIFTING), AND U.F.O.s We have polluted and despoiled the planet, and ourselves as a race. This disaster has been guided by a ‘Power Elite’, that is generally faceless and has scant regard for the ecology, and even less for the race. The first humans, or recognisable as such, came to this planet very late in its development. According to Cayce, Blavatsy and other mystics, about ten million years ago or so. This doesn’t mean that other forms were not present for millions of years before this, of course. Cayce indicates a time period of at least a further ten million years, for the time of the astral descents. A long time ago, when the earth was very young, and fresh. There were rolling prairies of blue-green grass and the forests were steamy and tropical and full of fruit and nut trees. Also the mountains had white tops and the air was crystal clean and so were the rivers and streams. The water was sweet and the ducks wore no shoes in those days, and come to think of it they still wear no shoes. Well upon these beautiful scene came "Spirit Beings", from the subtle dimensions. Whether they had come from a previous Pralaya, or Dissolution of the Universe, or were always in the spirit, or up from the animal world, I don't know. However it seems that they had already fallen far away from the Universal Consciousness. Their consciousness was drifting in and out, and they became aware of the rolling steamy mists of Earth. Fantastic reptiles in rainbow colours moved through green-brown swamps and herds moved over the rolling blue-grass prairies. Somewhere a sound vibration was flying from the throat of a gliding air animal. As the subtle or astral, beings became more aware and attached to this planet; they saw and felt many life forms. Some of these were small and slow, some agile apes and monkeys. They hovered around them and wished to emulate their behaviour. They felt the delight as the animals ate the fruit, scampered around, mated, made sounds, filling everything with vibrations. These Beings became so attached that they began to think up bodies for themselves, in order to enjoy this planet, but they would still go back and forth between the planes. That is between this plane and the Astral Dimensions. Eventually they thickened their vibrations, by slowing them down, and they also partook of the earth. They ate the food and experienced the senses, and the more they did this, the more they couldn't return to their astral home. They actually became concretised in matter, for one is what one eats. They led the flocks of birds and herds of animals. Some were mammals, some fish, and some even reptilians. They in fact became trapped in animal bodies of fantastic shapes, sizes and mixtures. Some, it seems resisted the temptation, were not trapped permanently, and could still move between the lower planes. (Yogis in India can enter recently dead bodies, and energise them, so saving time, in being reincarnated and having to grow up. The concept of ‘Walk Ins’, is similar, where a Soul takes over a body and completes its task, for some reason or other. Perhaps the person was tired, or suicidal and had reached a block, which the walk in could overcome and at the same time make its own spiritual progress. So it is not hard to see change can be effected, for it is the subtle body that enters and manifests the physical.) With regard to these descents; It was a big mess and they eventually forgot where they had come from. This distortion of evolution continued for many millions of years until some of the normal animals had evolved into higher animals, apes, and manlike beings. So there was a downward devolution as well as an upward evolution on this planet. Now the beings were mixing more and creating all kinds of monsters, and hybrids. So it was decided that the Deity or Keeper, of the planet would descend with the "Sons of God", or Kumaras, and help save these beings and natural evolution. They took an advanced, hairless, man-like Ape as their model. There probably were other template animals as well, but this was to be the most successful. These were the "Sons of God", and Giants mentioned in the Bible, Gen :6, “When mankind had spread all over the world and girls were being born, some of the supernatural beings saw that these girls were beautiful, so they took the ones they liked.” * 6:4 “ In those days, and even later, there were giants on the earth who were descendants of human women and the supernatural beings. They were the great heroes and famous men of long ago."** Many people have told similar stories and there is a Kabbalistic tradition about the first woman Lilith, who was an original ‘Animal Human’. The Ramayana, which is a Sacred Hindu Text, is full of stories of these various beings. Really the story of the Ramayana is about the battle for supremacy between the Rakshasas, or Ogre Humans, and the New Adamic Humans. The Ogre or Shape-Shifter Humans have been trying to maintain dominance ever since, and are still with us now. They haven’t gone anywhere Now it seems the first Divine Descents, were so spiritual that they didn't get involved in creation. They were not interested so much in sex and the senses. They just sat around meditating, in order to achieve Liberation. So it was necessary for the Blue- Red Kumaras, or ‘Divine Princes’, to descend and procreate children. Otherwise there would be no human bodies for the Mixtures, and Rakshasas, or Ogres, to reincarnate into. This was the process or plan of purifying the race. Kumara is Sanskrit word used in the ancient Hindu Puranas, ( the Puranas are a body of Hindu literature, embodying myth and history), to describe the Divine Descents. *** They in all probability came from the Pleiades and Sirius, where they lived in subtle form. (The Dogon tribe in Africa can draw pictures of this constellation, I believe, without anyway of really knowing what it looked liked. This indicates either modern visits or a folk memory held over for many millenia.) There were probably other descents from other areas that weren’t so benign, perhaps even Orion, for people do live in the surrounds of planets. This is to absorb and learn from the particular vibrations of the particular planet, which is really only a concentrated point of the plane. So when we hear old stories of people coming from other planets, it may just be in a subtle form, as opposed to a space ship of some kind. Although, I am not ruling out that space ships do come to this planet, they probably do. It is also likely that a certain amount of genetic engineering has been carried out in the past. Unfortunately some of the created or descended race, again, mixed with existing forms of man and monstrosities and all kind of mixtures resulted, Which added to the mixtures already in existence, such as the Yakshas, Kinnaras and Rakshasas of the Puranas and Ramayana. These are names of all kind of Ogres, Giants and strange Beings. The interesting thing, about the Ogres in the Ramayana, is that they shift to any shape they want, and that they are not necessarily non-spiritual. They also, obviously had survived, as a race, for millions of years. The Elephant-Headed, God Ganesha, who looks so strange today, would not be out of place in those days, neither would the Sphinxes, Pans or the Centaurs. If you look at the Egytian wall paintings, you will see mixtures depicted. There was spirituality in both Human and the Mixtures, one didn't have to have a human body to be spiritual and vice-versa of course. So there were those that followed the Spiritual path, or ‘Law of One’, and those that followed the Ego and the senses. So how to redeem these beings? Only by reversing the process, and purifying the body and the mind, of heavy and impure vibrations. This is usually done with meditation, meatless diets, and other disciplines. This is, so the souls can move back up to the higher planes or even to Liberation. (Union with the Divine.) These descents were at first Androgynous, and then, Hermaphrodites. (This is explained in The Baghavata as being incestous,) and Lilith was the first mate, but she was of animal man, and this caused some confusion, as she had all the attributes of such. She also rebelled against Adam for she wanted to be ‘on top’, during sex, not just a subservient female, for they were both male and female. So this obviously refers to some role playing amongst these beings. Sometimes playing the male and sometimes playing the female, or even sticking with one sex, as seems to be the case, with some. (This situation may go a long way to explaining, some of the different sexual desires, and preferences, that people have today). Also a pure human race had to be developed, to aid in one-pointedness, not just a hybrid one. A standardisation was desired that is. Whether this was achieved leaves a lot or room for speculation. Lilith, Adam and Eve represent whole races as opposed to just individuals. "So, figuratively, Adam was put to sleep and the female energy was drawn out of him and Eve was created". This may describe a fallow time whilst the new model of human was developing. Adam and Eve represents all created men and women. Lilith represents all the Mixture Beings. Eve means female human being in the ancient Hebrew of the Bible, Adam means Man of the Red Earth. In the Bhagavata Purana, which has 18,000 verses, the terms are (Planetary) Brahma, or Creator and Svayambhavu Manu and Sata Rupa, for Adam and Eve. Now we have "Created" man and woman and the long road back from the ‘Fall’, or ‘Forgetting’, could start. The souls of the mixtures and monstrosities could reincarnate into the new bodies, so could animal souls, coming up. Most of the world population today, probably came up from the animal world. In fact, in the Ramayana, there are monkey people, with long tails, bear people and other types. These mixtures disappeared from the earth 11,000 years ago, due to genetic engineering, especially in Egypt, except for, perhaps Bigfoot, the Yeti, the Bunyip and other mysterious creatures. Now because of what happened in the past there are many types of soul entities on the planet with all kinds of different past experiences. The Astral Beings are still here and of course on the astral plane. It is logical to think that, they in the main feel that their position on the Earth was weakened, and that they were somehow, dispossessed, from absolute control. Many of them return in demonic states of mind and even take over countries for a while. However none of them have ever succeeded, on a permanent basis. These days, because of the fact we have a standard human body, these beings are not evident and look just like you or me or Hitler or Stalin. Even though there is genetic inheritance, of D.N.A. going all the way back through to the ‘Mixtures’, and Astral Descents. Another great danger is the return to genetic engineering and cloning. Especially with human gene-nome almost completely charted. It is now possible to mix any gene from any species with genes of any other completely different species, as they now do with crops and food. For instance they put fish genes into tomatoes. This can lead to the days prior to 9,000 B.C.E. when monstrosities and mixtures existed on this planet. We ourselves are, as I previously mentioned, probably, engineered beings, why else would our genetics be 99% the same as chimpanzees? Who came first, the human or the chimp? Is the chimp a human, or a mixture? However we are now uniform and not mishapen, and we have some human rights. This period according to Cayce, and other mystics, was also when the world meetings were held in Egypt, in order to rationalise religious practices, for the newly created humans, in their masses. So Religion was invented to control and direct the new ignorant masses. This was necessary for the new humans had no attributes in their mind, with regard to spirituality. In the days of the mixture slaves, their masters didn’t let them know anything about spirituality, or God. There had to be a system to train and guide their minds, hence the religions. Prior to this period, there were no religions as such, but spirituality alone. Although there were Homo Sapiens on the planet, the new humans, who were previously mixtures, had to have their minds drilled, otherwise there would be chaos on the planet. Religion, of course has been misused and abused, from time to time, and in many cases is just a form of mega control. It is believed that, the people that taught the Ancient Wisdom, originated in Mu, or the original ‘Motherland’, and were known as Naacals or Nagas. This translates into Serpents, in English. This may have been because they had ‘Risen Kundalini’, which is envisaged as a serpent, coiled at the base of the subtle spine. This rises through the Subtle Chakras to the Crown of the head, and on to Enlightenment. So reversing the downward journey of consciousness into the material. Lytle Robinson, "Edgar Cayce, The Story and Destiny of Man", Berkley Publishing, N.Y. New York,U.S.A.1972. *, **,Bible, Genesis 2:7. 6. 6:4. ***,Bhagavata Purana, Skanda 3: 7:20, Skanda 4: 1. Skanda 3: 11:12, Skanda 3: 5:3:12. Reincarnation.(Biblical Resurrection.) I cannot talk about reincarnation without talking about karma, which is the cause; past, present and future karmas. I like to think of lives as spokes on a wheel, they are there all at once, but we concentrate our consciousness on one spoke at a time. It is the Ego that takes rebirth, which is an aspect of mind, and brings with it all its tendencies from previous existances. These tendencies are in the form of karmic memories. From the point of view of the Divine, there is no free will, for all is God, but from the Ego view point of the individual there is the illusion of free will. There is General law (God's Law) and then the individual and society. The individual acts in a society according to his free will, but all conforms to the general law. The individual must act and his action is a function of his mind. There are thoughts, which function as seeds and they sprout and become actions. The actions then appear to be free will to the concerned individual. There is a concept in Yoga of three bodies and five sheaths or koshas. The physical, the subtle, and the causal bodies. The body, or food sheath, the energy sheath, the mind sheath, the intellectual awareness sheath and the bliss sheath. It seems when we die that we move through these sheaths one at a time. Associated with the body is an etheric energy sheath, which is part of the larger energy sheath. This looks like the body and survives for sometime after death. When the entity drops this sheath it is called the "second death". The personality then progressively withdraws through the other sheaths depending on one's level of awareness and spirituality. The Mind Sheath dissolves and goes back to the Universal Mind. After dropping the mind, one then moves into the Intellectual Sheath. This is where the greatest manifestation of the ego is and also awareness. The Causal is the last sheath and is the deep sleep sheath. It seems these movements are very subjective and some people stay in the sheaths longer than others. Moving up the planes requires swooning or a death in order to progress. This is where the expression "second death", comes from. So basically it seems that what takes rebirth is the Intellectual Sheath and Causal Sheath, picking up new bodies and a mind on the way, and bringing previous tendencies with it. So it seems that Liberation is actually realising that the ego is just an aspect of mind and intellect, and then rising above our karmas. That is allowing them to dissolve back into the primal energy or "Shakti". This allows our consciousness to merge back into The Universal and escape the illusory dream. Sometimes an advanced soul may keep a thought so preventing final dissolution. This thought is a pure desire to help humanity. So we have Masters, and Avatars, like Jesus or Bodhisattvas like Siddartha Buddha. It seems this thought is aware of unity and has no sense of individuality, it just creates an Ego to help humanity. So in actual fact the Ego is the Mind. Divine descents are Karana Janimas or a causal births not due to karma. So the cause of rebirth for ordinary people is desire and tendencies, or karmic memories. Depending on our karmic vibrations we take birth in a family and life suitable to these vibrations. It is not usually possible to expiate all our karma in one lifetime so the The Universal Mind allocates a portion to be experienced. Of course at the same time we are creating new bad and good karmas. It is interesting to note that good karma caused rebirth as well. For one must return to receive the fruits of our actions. So in order to prevent rebirth we have to eliminate all karmas, the tree has to be uprooted completely not just pruned. There are three types of Karma: past, present and future. We can do a lot with the present so influencing the future. Even the effects of past karma can be alleviated by doing good works. We can bury the effects of our past karma under good works. Prana is stronger than Karma, so past Karma can be burned up and not sprout. Prema or Divine Love and Shakti cannot be stopped, it is the essence of our being, but we have to earn Grace to alleviate Karma. During this learning process we continue being born, not only on the physical plane but also in the Heaven Planes. Depending on our karmas we take birth on different planes, the higher being the more blissful. However after our resting time we have to be reborn again to expiate our karma, and progress towards Liberation. Some higher beings like Devas may take birth so that they may be liberated from their "Happiness." Some of the lower beings are hardly conscious at all between lives. They just die and reincarnate without any time on the Heaven Planes. This situation probably applies to the majority of the population, hence the massive overpopulation of the planet. Also population is added to by animals becoming human and taking birth. In fact we are sending billions of animals, from the slaughter houses, to the subtle plane, where many take rebirth as humans. Unfortunately they bring their resentment of humans with them, hence massacres and the like. So one has to develop the Awareness Sheath, this is done with Devotion to Divinity and directing our thoughts away from this illusory world. It is also difficult for the ordinary person to distinguish good from bad karma. Some is obviously bad or good but if other karmas lead to spirituality how can that be bad even if painful? The most effective way to avoid creating future karmas is by surrendering to God. By surrendering the fruits of our actions to God we incurr no karma,"nishkarma karma. "This is easier said than done and one needs to be vigilant, otherwise the Ego and all its desires gets entangled in the action and we don't surrender properly. We are still not detached from the fruits of our actions. This is why it is so important to have a habit of devotion and prayer, so that our minds are full of good vibrations. The mind has six mental states; subconscious, conscious, super-conscious, higher mind, illuminated mind, and intuitive mind. What I have been able to glean from experience and all the teachings is that there are various conceptual divisions in the mind. Some people have different names for these concepts but that isn't important. There are seven Lokas, or planes, up and seven lower. 1.) There is the gross material body and the etheric body together, on the lowest plane. 2.) Next there is what I will call "the Astral," which has seven subdivisions,4 lower (pretlokas) and 3 higher heavens. The heavens are learning planes with astral schools and libraries. 3.) Next is the Mental which has seven sub-planes, consisting of 4 lower planes of form (Rupa), and 3 higher planes that are formless or Arupa colours and energies. 4.) Finally there are the Spiritual Planes, Buddhic and Atmic and obove this Divinity, Anupadika and Adi. This is all conceptual and a mental construct of course but let it be said there are lower and higher planes, and different groups have different names for the same thing. These eight elements of the Noble Eightfold Path are divided. Continuing with on the Buddhist void, Sunyata I suppose?, and the Vedanta. In Vedanta there is the concept of ‘God’, with attributes and also without attributes which is the Truth, or Ajativada. Expanded Glossary. Aai Mother.
